@hostetlerdan, Similar problem. I'm trying to solve 3 weeks already. So far unsuccessfully. A hang occurs even if the delete function does nothing. There is a suspicion that the error is at the system level.

can you please make an addon the helps with a problem I'm having? whenever I undo a dupe with lots of props in it, my game freezes for a minute or more, depending on the dupe's size. The thing is, I've never had this problem before, and I haven't been able to use dupes for a while. could you please help?

There shouldn't really be any workshop fixes for these kind of issues. The game shouldn't crash in the first place.

Send your crashlogs to Garry so he can fix it.

Or just don't use a Duplicator and only AdvDupe 2 ;). How come I never got this crash? Not on Scars? It must be a Duplicator-only error. I gave up on that tool as tons of my so carefully made constraints were totally ruined by the props breaking one into another, welds completely disappearing even although their force was 0 and much more... Just save everything over Advanced Duplicator 2 and have twice the less fear :physgun:

my computers fixed i spawn a dupe i press z it deletes

This is as far as I know, fixed already.
Updating to the dev version would also have fixed the bug which was killed by this addon.
