Am I just being impatient? Can it only input 100 at a time and takes a really long time to process the 100 gravel before it pulls in another 100?

Was having trouble so I simplified with the following test. Running vanilla Nitrado server with default settings in survival mode and no other mods than this one. Added unit to a small container containing a number of things including gravel (about 16k worth), stone, ingots, and miscellaneous stuff. Set it to auto pull/push...

It pulled in 100 gravel then sat there doing nothing. Does it require a specific unit type on either side of itself?

can we get a basic version like the basic assembler and basic refinery? sometimes i can be stuck on a planet for like 20h without finding any cobalt so this seems like the perfect fix for the problem while remaining balanced.

Anyone know the ratio Of Gravel sifters,with full Yield modules, you need to process all the gravel an advance refinary full Yield modes output? Also its worth it put yield modules as it seems to give 0.1 anyways or just put speed/power insted on the Sifter?

It works for me, you have to note that the block is not displayed directly in the block menu, just type Sifter or Gravel into the search bar, that should be enough.

This mod wont even load into my world... not sure why, it wont even download at the end of the load order

@Alpha Turn off "show in inventory" for the sifter

Works perfectly for me y'all, running on a 100ish mod server. I haven't seen any issues in about 30 hours of gameplay so far for those wondering

as of this last update, the gravel sifter mod makes you fall through planets, haven't tested in space, but on pertam you just fall through the ground. definitely a weird bug.

can you make the gravel sifter keep showing 2 rows of materials in the ore part even if its empty, because it keeps messing with the interface when stuff is put in and pulled out

Randomly starts and stops working

The Gravel Sifter stopped working. Everything is full but nothing happens. At the start it works for fiew minutes after that.... nothing

@Alexis(Mssun21) You can modify the mod yourself, copy the folder (steam location)\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\2144596603 to %appdata%\SpaceEngineers\Mods and rename the folder to whatever you want it to appear as in your modlist, then go into the copied folder and open .\Data\Blueprints.sbc in any text editor, delete the lines you don't want (or comment them out with // at the start of each line you don't want) and change the numbers to whatever you want. Don't have much experience with running multiplayer so not sure the proper way to share the modified version with friends but you can probably figure it out.

Love the mod but wish i could turn off sum of the Ore off the list.
rather players hunt for sum stuff not just get it from stone even if its a low amount

As of 12/17/23 this works perfectly on my private multiplayer server. I can also confirm that this works with Power, Speed and Yield Modules.

@sarnath1 Not to toot my own horn about mods, but my ancient as hell StoneCrusher mod still works in SP (no idea about MP) and spits out lots of ores.

StoneCrusher Realistic Generation

As of 10-12-23 this does not even show up for single player use. I really, really need this as I cannot find anything other than Iron, Ice and Gold (well... Stone to if that counts).

I have it still installed and it is working still after the newest Update. September 16th 2023.

I can't even find the gravel sifter in the game with the mod loaded. Maybe I'm an idiot, or maybe the mod doesn't work after the latest updates.

This mod is a gigantic jigsaw, I even consider it essential. I know gravel is important, but I don't see any reason to have more than 10tons of a layaway saved for one day maybe use

Seems to work. Thank you, just what I needed for getting rid of gravel in a meaningful way. Since you get ores (and not ingots) from gravel the amounts you gain are small enough to not unbalance things.

I'm Currently using speed modules on mine not sure if yield works or not.

If you are using Build Progression you cant see it in G Menu look in the Progression menu

I have this installed cant seem to find it to build anywhere though.

I personally don't have this, but it sounds like a great mod, I won't use it only because I don't think it should give you the more rare ores like gold, silver, uranium and platinum.
If it didn't give you those I would 100% get this

I recently installed this mod on my server and it is working fine, pulls gravel from all locations on the network like a champ and slaps those nuggies through in droves, obviously smaller quantities than the melt stone for ores (update, update) mod
