Very much enjoying the rover, but I do wonder as to what the toolbar things are as mine were messed up

Ive found sometimes if you dont spawn them on a platform they wont move for some reason it will think its a station dont know why, but it did it to me twice and that was with a rover i built .

Spawned in floating and can't get it to move at all. It's stuck floating in lace.

I wonder if its possible to setup mounts for installing movable blast shields for the front and back.

Hmm I unlocked parking via the control panel(the handbrake option not P key) but the rover will not move. Any ideas? maybe a bug? I spawned this into a creative world to test no luck yet.

It's great. I made a clone of this, but replaced the wheels with a "hovercraft" setup, and this beast zips across terrain now at max speed.

can you have the miners separate ?

Just started playing space engineers past few weeks and i started a base like the wasteland series. just printed the rover and the thing is awesome. but ive noticed that its very slow even when empty, wheels take an age to get up to speed even up 20 m/s and i get a lot of wheel spin. ive checked the wheels settings, increased friction etc but think screwed them up. on the wasteland seried your rover seems so smooth when driving...mine isnt. couldnt you show the setting you got on your rover so i can copy and try please. much appreciated.

its easily my favorite rover, proper mobile base.

I've tried several rovers, without a doubt, this one is my favourite one of the bunch in this limited mega class. Styling and layout are top notch. I also run two of your ship builds and they are of the same quality/design. Love your work which deserved the Steam top dog points award...thx !

Dear The Garage Gamer, i just can't point out enough, how much i love your Nomad! This is an awesome build!

I just added a hydrogen engine and two batteries to last longer, since ice is not an issue on the world i'm playing at. I mount them well hidden, so your design was not altered in any way. It took me a while to find proper places for the additions, without touching the visual appearance and the air tightness of the rover.. but i found a place near the bottom connector.

Hi @CharlotteTheHarlot you can download it still, but the blocks that are DLC will just disappear, and you can replace then with the non DLC Blocks 🙂

Is this something I can get if I don't have the dlc? I would use the non-dlc items and such but I don't know how to get this into my game.

Eventually when I have some time I may make a non DLC version of the rover, but I'm not going to lie it is relatively low on the priority list, as the list of things I need to do on YouTube and the Steam workshop seem's overwhelming at the present time. But eventually I will get around to it :)

Watching episode 3 of your series, and have just downloaded this beast. Plan on using it on my next world instead of the not so good Tortie rover I built. Yours looks great BTW.

@jim-kelley1 you have to build upside down steel catwalks on the Piston head, then you can add the button panel ontop of that, then the steel catwalk attaches to the button panel. The stairs can attach to the upside down catwalk ;)

how do you build the platform for the elevator

Yeah i had the same problem recently lol.

I was having the same problem as @rbrtgrmn. Got into the info panel of the rover and convert from station to ship

cannot get the blasted thing to move.

Very cool ship. Has anyone tried to convert this to a vanilla build with no DLC?

Oh yeah lol, thats why i put the 4 pistons on the bottom haha. I used black Camo for the Top, and then black battered armor for everything else :) the black battered armor appears silver once its placed. If you hold a block over a colour and Press Shift+P it will select the colour of the block your looking at.

Both; turns out I didn't have enough room to spawn the wheel. I also found that rebuilding the suspension entirely via projectors was really useful in getting troublesome tires to spawn. Another question though, sorry. I use the ♥♥♥♥ out of this thing in singleplayer and have my own armed refit; but I cannot for the life of me figure out what color/armor type you used for the back/top of it.

Sorry for the late reply mate, only just saw your message. I havent really seen that happen before, it may be a glitch with the game. Are you going into the control panel and then adding a wheel that way, or are you adding a wheel by selecting it in the G menu and then placing the wheel with your character?

I'm trying to use this in survival and when i try to replace a lost wheel the 5x5 wheel it provides me seems to be different than the tires that are on it. Also, there's some sort of shaft between the suspension and the wheel that I dont know how to place. Any advice?
