Red bricks? I don't think I've ever made buildings with visible red bricks. That's not something common during those times. If anything I make different paint colours but such small structures weren't colourful.

I'd love a pumping station too, I can confirm I've seen a big difference between overground and subterranean piping. Sometimes I need just a big of an extra push that requires a pump to help with distance to help mitigate drop-off loss. I use a significant amount of your mods as well.

Hmm, I'd still have to check if the pumping station is worthwhile. As far as I remember the station itself gave a huge decrease in temperature.

No, I consider it useless because of the temperature loss. It's better to build another small heating plant.

@robs074 do you have a heat pumping station in the same style? If not, are you planing on making one? I'm trying to make a slightly bigger city using only your mods, and there isn't anything out there that would match

What does it use as fuel for heating?

Well, it's the ending point of a network, so there is always another building on the other end, with a road connection (either a pumping station or a heating plant).

You may have issues with manual building as infrastructure can't be built when there is no road connection at least from one side of the line.
