You have to type enable_changename into the console then "setname NameGoesHere"

Can you make it so you can have spaces in the name? It's alright if you can't fix it though.

Thanks for the advice. I'm sorry for getting to be redundant (because I made you give information that was already been said). As I already know this works for some people, is there still the possibility you might still work on this "project", saying that this was a very good concept, none the less, and maybe, just maybe, try and find any solution (besides from the game's incompabilty itself)?

Sorry, as per my earlier comment, an update like a day after I released this broke it. It still worked for some people, apparently, but I really can't guarantee that it works. I'll update the description to reflect that fact that it probably doesn't work, but I won't delete it since it seems to still work for some people.

it still works for me but i doesnt allow spaces in the name can u try fixing that? if u cant i understand.

It actually stopped working pretty soon after I released it. I might get around to fixing it eventually, or just remove it, since apparently GMod doesn't want this to be possible. It was a console function.
