interesting concept there there is the upgrate units mod that affects all factions i think though i play as riekland mainly so i know what can get upgrated to what from the state troopers and more. does this mod and others like yours work with that or is it a no go if you want i can link you the mod in question for you to take a look and possibly test or do you want us to test that?

Is the script required for the AI to use the upgrade system?

How do you think about giving this mec to beastmen? They're also chaos related and short of GW's love too...

@Vollhov I think that is the downside of the transformation ability. Malus has similar machanic

As I understand it, this is a problem for the AI, in addition, after using this skill, the units remain intact in the army and retreat without loss.

@Vollhov after checking the video, actually the transformation works fine. you can see the witch elves running at you. what is weird is that in a few seconds, they are transformed into chaos spawns. I think this may be due to some other abilities. Not sure though

I don't use it, but AI uses it. They transform for a couple of seconds, but then the squad stands in place and stops doing something.

@Vollhov can you give a bit more details? You used this ability and the generated units cannot move?

"Changling BlackGuards/BlackOrcs/SaurusWarriors/QuestingKnights/GrailKnights": Tzeentch changes the units into a different shape. These units will keep most of their original states while taking one/two advantages from the units they changed into (for chaos warriors and chaos knights)
It's a pity that the AI does not work, the unit just freezes in place :(

Damn, this mod and Radious sub mod "Radious Slaves to Darkness" conflict only slightly, as both this mod that uses the "skulls" and that mod that uses the "favour" icon at the top of the UI on campaign map overlap so only one appears. Again, probably just needs a submod or a UI edit to move the icon over a bit so both appear, as currently they both operate together perfectly but I can't actually see how many skulls I have as the radious mod overlaps it with priority and just shows it's favour icon.

@Iskandar I had similar problems before. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. I still do not know why.

@oil so I made a small experimental mod like this for bretonnia but for whatever reason, when the list comes up to pick the unit to upgrade, on the top it still tells me “unit upgrades”. I did change the text file but no good. Has this happened to you before when making this?

Great idea for a Chaos mod, BUT... using "U" instead of "You" in descrition texts in game.
that's not okay on any level...

This is a great mod. Love that you added this mechanic to Chaos. Until WHIII this Chaos has to be one of the most boring factions to play. All these fancy new DLC lords with their fancy new toys. I won't mention the Beastmen for they are the truly forgotten. Anyway thanks again.

诺斯卡也有骷髅这个资源，但是没有升级选项

@oil No worries then. I didn't know if i had something that could conflict with it. Its a super small thing that doesn't effect the game at all really.

@cattlekiller In this mod I modified the upgrade text to fit with Chaos. Currently I do not know how to set the text dynamically based on the race you are playing.

First off great work on this mod.
Small issue I have when playing as Orcs, when I hover over the "scrap" button it says "Blessings of Chaos." Is there any mod conflicts I should keep any eye out for? Also this is the only upgrade unit mod i'm using.

Works ! AI began to make upgrades!
