It's fine, many of the people that have made mods for the game have, either gone on to other things, or like you, do not have the time for them. It's understandable. Though I do hope someone want to make one that work, or take over and fix your mod. The mod was great when it worked.

Can't use this at all anymore :\
When laying track it always lays the paralel track to the left of the track you lay, but if there's an existing track on the left of the track you're laying it will lay the automatically adden parallel track ontop of the existing track.
Also when laying long stretches of tracks it tend to crash the game.

There's a lot of mods that doesn't work after the latest patch. This one is a bit annoying because I use it a lot.

I wasn't making any. I was laying a track next to another track with it on and it placed a parallel track ontop of the existing one. It didn't do that before the latest patch. As for the bend.. I was continuing on a track that I was working on, but when the track had to go through a tunnel and in a bend it layed the parallel track in a streight line, not flux with the main track in a bend.

I'm having some serious issues with this mod after the latest patch.
The mod places track on top of existing track and it often when making bends it doesn't make the bend on the parallel track, just make it streight.

@jjjez That's why there's a on/off switch

wont allow for the old way of building double track. It wont let me place and line up any track next to an already built track.

@Enzojz Thanx BUT there is no track spacing for Game default track separation!! The closes is 1m but the tracks seem to be 0.85 apart I think, that causes some issues. Also you seen to have 2 x Major issues, 1. Most of the time you cannot continue over roads, 2. Linking to a bridge sometime build garbage

Also I think unlike previous behaviour you have to start laying track, then the option to parallel it and how many of them are in the box

@Enzojz The option to select Parallel Tracks in the track construction menu is no longer appearing. When I first load the game and select the menu it is showing, but as soon as I select a different track type (any) the Y/N option disappears and is no longer available for any track type. My game time period is after 2001. I am using the mod on a saved game where it was used previously.

@Enzojz been doing some testing. I have to start a game in a later decade to get the track settings to show.

@Enzojz would it matter what mods I subscribe to? Or just enabled?

@Enzojz If I give the track a height for building a bridge the option appears but has no function.
And using the mod without other mods doesn't solve the problem.

I moved mine up to no2 in load order, seems to have fixed it

This question has been asked already but can you edit the mod to allow for selecting which side you want the 2nd track on? I'd like to have my parallel track on the right side.

@wncol2004 Yes, they are not supposed to do so. This mod is simple and just "help" you, not an all-in-one.

Still Buggy. Won't do parallel when crossing a road or when it changes from ground level tails to bridges.

Could you update this so you have to actually pay for the additional tracks? It kinda cheats.

Feature suggestion: Is it OK to add the ability to select which side to have the uneven parallel track? For example, when selecting "ON/OFF" actually selecting "OFF/Left/Right"?

@Sim Guy Silver Avoid intersections, if it doesn't work that's the game who refuse to build..

Such a great idea for a track mod but you can only draw track in small sections and that's not very useful when you want to keep tracks as flat as possible.
