I cant for the life of me figure out how to actually attach these to my weapons, i've tried multiple ways and mods to add attachment slots to my swords, but nothing is working >_<

I could be wrong, but I think the only reason this mod has primary secondaries as a requirement is a reliance on only being able to add attachments to your primary weapon. Teslarage's Loot mod can already add attachments to secondary weapons so what I did is just use AML to ignore the primary secondary mod dependency. I haven't played long enough to say for sure if that causes issues but so far it works fine that way with LWOTC and Teslarage Loot mod.

I confirmed it, Tesla Loot Mod incorporates this mod fully and allows you to use it LWOTC. I have had no problems.

I am playing tedjam lwotc+requiem, its working fine, i dont know if it is the same for others but with my build they are coming out in loot drops but it my be tesla's loot mod that is making it work

Well, I just checked with a non-Samurai wielding a Katana as her primary weapon. No dice. I'll try on a Ranger's normal weapon... No dice, though that was a Viper Ranger. Let me try on a bog-standard human Ranger...

Some of the mods in this mod don't seem to be working, possibly because of True Primary Secondaries? It's very disappointing that I can't attach an Advanced Blade Frame to a heavy axe in order to offset the mobility penalty. Or maybe it's just not working for Samurai...

the attachment slot isn't showing up, i have the shield attachments mod and that works, also armor upgrades, but the slot for melee is nonexistent.

because you need to add the gauntlet as a supported weapon type

LWOTC player here. Never used this before since the author seemed to indicate it wouldn't work. But since TrooperCoon kindly provided the template names to console in these items I tested them out and have had no issues. These melee modules look amazing! Note, it may require tweaking the config if you want melee weapons to have the same 3 upgrade slots as LWOTC guns. Conventional swords start with only 1 and the ripjack has none.

Is there a way to remove the hilts (non-lost kills) entirely? I fee like they're the only useless upgrade, everything else is great

Is it intended for base weapons such as Alloy Sword and Fusion Blade to not be upgradeable? I've never been able to upgrade these swords, only modded ones like the ones from Katana Pack Reloaded

RustyDios no LwotC melee weapons code dose not have any Upgrade Slots.so add this mod may add mod and Upgrade Slots bc the LwotC melee weapons code dose not have any Upgrade at all this mod get over righted

So found a bug after digging through the configs, apparently Reflector only drop up to adv? since in the loot table for the superior loot, it said reflector_ADV?

Okay I did a lot of comment reading so thank you to RustyDios and Zanten in Configure Upgrade Slots for the BIGGEST help. It was shiremct's XcomWOTC_APA_WeaponData.ini that dropped most uprade slots to 1 or 0 so after editing that it finally worked!

I don't have a campaign tweaking mod nor do any of the weapon skin replacers I have enable modify the upgrade slots, but the vanilla(?) arc sword or the axes mod don't have any upgrade slots, only the katana and combat knife mods seem to allow for upgrades.

I saw that some people were having an issue where their shields and/or melee weapons had 0 upgrade slots. I encountered the same problem and after some digging found the culprit (at least in my setup):

If you're using Odd's Campaign Tweaks, its Weapon Skin Replacer config sets the number of upgrade slots for a variety of items to zero. Changing those values to the desired values should fix the issue.

It's located at:

steamapps\workshop\content\268500\2692821840\Config\WeaponSkinReplacer\XComWeaponSkinReplacer.ini

@rockmanphuc - if you've used 'Mode Everything' to add mod slots to Templar gauntlets, to enable these attachments just:

1 - Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\2134785102\Config

2 - Open the XComMeleeAttachments.ini and read the instructions.

In short, make sure the following two lines are in the config:

Under the [MeleeAttachments.X2Item_MeleeAttachments] section:

+AllowedTypes = gauntlet

Under the [MeleeAttachments.X2Ability_MeleeAttachments] section:

+AllowedWeaponCategories=gauntlet

anyone knows how to config this mod to also apply these upgrade for templar shard gauntlets? Mod everything gives slots for templar gauntlets and now it triggers my OCD despite the fact that I have nothing to give to my templar :steamsad:

So,the only way for that to happen is if you either used a Stun-Lancer (somehow) or use tactical analysis?
Or would it only work on the Chosen when you freeze them; and after they have thawed

I have a question. So for some of the attachments it says it does bounus damage to "Confused" enemies. What does mean. Does that just mean panicked enemies? Or something else?

Hello there, I tried your mod and it is really cool, but i ran into little question, is it not possible to remove the attachments even with research which allows to do so?
