For those having trouble getting the key from the Beast, just type "help magical" (without quotes) and give yourself the key using the player.additem command. The console can be opened with the ` key on Windows.

For those who can't be bothered, just type "player.additem 0a000d94 1" in the console to give yourself the key.

how come the key does not show up on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ werewolf think its kinda stupid that you put a mod out where it is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ broken thats just plaind dumb get it fixed please.

I figured out the riddle it's at Chillwind depths! I have also found the second magical item! Wow this quest was alot tougher than I thought but well worth it. Thanks!

i have the exact same problem as xion the beast didnt drop a key.
im not a fan of the console so i just tried to mod that i had with me (zelda's lullaby) sadly that didnt work as the game still told me i required a key.

the mod seems promising considering the music the beast and well thr trailer thing.....
but i kinda wanna contineu now so plz... a fix or something?

Okay, a couple things: I wound up starting by killing the cavern beast (for reasons unrelated to the mod; I forgot it was there and went to save Valdr). Like in Octoryama's case, the cavern beast's corpse didn't have the key (wound up using console commands to unlock the chest).

I found Leoni in a cave (sorry if that's a spoiler for anyone, although I didn't say WHICH cave) totally by luck, and his body DID have the necessary key. However, I can't find the quest in my journal anywhere; is it just that it's not totally finished yet, or should I be worried? After all, if there's more there at this point in time, I haven't the slightest idea where to go or what to do next (and Leoni's journal was no help as far as that goes).

And to anyone else getting stuck with the key issue, just use the console commands to open like someone stated earlier in the comments, like one page back by now i think. Then you will be able to open it and move on, but there is a riddle and I have yet to figure it out. Post the location but nothing else if you figure it out please

i want to start this comment by saying that i LOVE LOZ and i this is a great mod that nails the weapons and other things, but i never knew that there was a chest in moss mother cavern, if there is where is it? thx in advance, i will still look for it though, so i may say nevermind, still comment if you know! thx again!

A fix for opening the chest if the key didnt drop is open the console target the hest and type into the console unlock The chest will be unlocked . Hope this will be helpful to someone.

The monster didnt drop me the key neither... i would recommend if someone knows console methods to open the chest leave them here... it would be a great help for everyone....
