I did all the correct steps, but some reason in the game, they sounded low pitched and slowed down, while the mp3 files themselves are completely normal.

Nah it wouldn't crash the game if you messed up with that. They just wouldn't play in game. Try the command again and double check that it is the right one. If you type "snd_re" its the first one that pops up in the drop down menu.

Make sure you input the command: snd_rebuildaudiocache at the main menu after your mods finish loading. When it finishes input the command: quit.

soo i used all the p5 voicepack but as soon as did the snd_rebuildaudio the game crashed midway. what do i do

Yeah don't worry its safe. It's the one I use and it has the lock next to the URL which means it is a secure connection.

is the link you posted a safe download for GCF?

It might be because it's in Spanish, and if that is the case I'm not sure exactly how to fix that. You can try forcing the game's language to English by right-clicking on Left 4 Dead 2 in your library, then go to properties and then select "set launch options". Type in: "-language english" and select ok. Then launch the game and see if it works. If it doesn't, try reinstalling the pack again with the language changed.

I have a problem is that the voice is not heard the only thing that comes out of the mod is laughter and that very rarely happens I did everything they asked for and I do not hope that the problem is not because I have it in Spanish

You input the "snd_rebuildadiocache" command at the menu after you start the game. Then you type in quit when it is done, and that should force quit the game. After that, it should be done. You should be able to hear the voice once you load in to a game.

Because when I do in game it loads the white bar all the way but then it crashes when it finishes
And when I do in the menu it loads all the way and it show some things in the console, I then type "quit" and the game closes itself

I'm not sure yet. I still need to play Persona 4 Golden and get through classes. If I make them it'll probably be around next summer when I'll have plenty of time.

That won't do anything with that particular mod. You need to go to the specific folder that the description tells you to go to and put the original audio files back in and type in snd_rebuildaudocache in the console when you reload the game.

Remove the custom files and put the original ones back in. If you didn't back them up, then verify the game files from the game's properties menu.

For my voice packs and that one, you need to follow the instructions in the description. A rule of thumb for workshop mods is that the subscribe button will automatically install the mod unless the description says otherwise.

Click yes. That allows the workshop to automatically install the addons when you subscribe to them I'm pretty sure.

Yes, but I would also leave whatever already has a check mark next to it checked. Just add .vpk to the list.
