I have the same problem with the Robots.

The mod for me is preventing Robot species from being assembled, not having any issues with buildings, just pop growth, no idea how to fix

I found this mod is preventing robots from building on planets, both robot servants and machine empires. The key change is in the file 00_species_archetypes.txt (copied from the base game files):

ROBOT and MACHINE types need the line: robotic = yes
PRESAPIENT and OTHER need the line: uses_modifiers = no

@jtcbrown I think Paradox changed something about how some files are loaded, the file for changing trait points has to be named "00_species_archetypes", else its not possible to get new ones.

So, maybe some other mod is at issue here, but researching any genetic stuff is not actually adding any more trait points / picks. I have gone far enough to add like +5/+6 trait points (the first tech that gives +2, the perk that adds +3, and one more tech that adds +1) and nothing. Any ideas?

Yes the AI will use them although not always all of them. It does not cause any issues as far as crashes or bugs.

Is it possible to get a version with 20 trait picks, and 10 base points? Asking since I wanted to use some other mods that add a lot of different traits.
