The rod merely drawing lightning while not preventing the ensuing damage and fires is a huge problem. After comparing the code between the original and the update, it looks like the code is nearly the same. I think the mod may need a major update.

Please update it to prevent the fires.

I actually got MORE fires after setting up rods...it just drew the lightning to them and started a fire at their base every time.

hi there, im new to modding and am trying to make a lightning weapon. would you mind giving me some info on how this mod works and how the lighting is redirected to the rods location?

Didn't work for me. Still fires.

Deactivate the mod in game, unsubscribe this mod on steam, and delete the old version data folder at the same time to solve this problem.

This re-reupload caused some problem: the old (ID:2026052961 ）didn't being removed correctly.

Still want the means of no fires at all, since pawns will still get struck when fixing the rod.

I will admit when i used to use it, it would attract the lightning but it would just set the stuff around it on fire. It does its job in attracting lightning, I'll look into it. This is just a reupload after all

No, it absorbed the bolt and did not do any damage. This was how it worked until 1.1, and it only stopped working due to changes in the game. I know, as I used it since it came out.

I believe thats the point of it, to attract it away from other stuff

Yeah, it doesn't work. The lightning gets attracted, but then it just hits the ground, setting everything on fire and doing damage.
