@SwiSSchriS You need to unlock "Construction Location" or "Additional Land" from the tech trees. From there you can build any of the new buildings from those land sites.

@Geralt of Syria AI can build these, just I never see them often at all. My guess is the price of land is too high for the AI to bother with.

@ImonHBnLT Yeah I think I left that in there by accident. Just something I use to prevent AI from just placing lvl 4 castles everywhere without any useful buildings. If you have PFM then you probably know exactly how to remove it. I just found at lvl 3 castles the AI had like decent farm and roads ect.

This is a great mod, but, I don't know if it was intended, I'm getting the need to research Heaven and Earth to build Fortress, and, Traditional Building to build Castles.
For me it's ok, but I'm stucked with IA only having LVL 2 cities... BTW, I'll try to remove with PFM.

@Demon Nachos Yea this has the potential for god units, I'm just no fan of limiting the number of buildings a player can have. At least the AI never builds them.

This mod is brokenly OP, and I don't have a problem with that at all. The fact that you can stack the Ninjistu Conclaves or Gold Mines is just silly. While the maxed conclaves cost a lot to build they pay for themselves in 9 turns. I put 3 of the conclaves in Buzen alongside a Master Bowmaker and matchlock ashigaru had 80+ accuracy.

@Morpheseus I use the vanilla game cost of the buildings, I guess I could charge more for the land itself to construct, as its only 2k each, could make it 4k.

Unless you decide the specific techs you want the specific castle chain to be linked to, would be easier, I can adjust that in a minute or two.

I could add strongholds to "strategy of defence" which is an early tech, just above "Heaven and Earth" tech. I

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. Every new level of upgrade must become available through research.
Now I see that the A.I. factions all have the same level of castles....that's not fun.
The landscape should be littert with different levels of fortifications linked to the tech level researched by the AI and the player of course.
So the level 2 fortifictions should be linked to the next tech researched before it shoul be able to be upgraded.
Now that would be more fun and more realistic.

This mod really works great with my other mods. Could you also make a mod that makes it that you and the AI must research every level for upgrading your fort/castle to the next level?

You're welcome. Got an update coming that includes 1 extra building for the encampment chain that essentially combines all encampment buffs into 1. Costs quite a lot so AI will most likely not build it.
