Was it really your first map in general? Colour me impressed.
A lot of resin, barnacles actually dropping items, weapons paced well.
One gripe I have is the flashlight. My 60 yo dad (yeah..) missed it and couldn't backtrack to it (Gordon locked the door to the chest) so we had to restart.
All in all, good job!

i was guna judge it but this map is OLD and it's pretty alright i like the resin spam this is prob one of the only maps you can actually play with the weapon upgrades

This ended up being one of the most atmospheric dark maps I've ever played. It also had the most unexpected jumpscare I've seen in a while. Dammit, Gordon, that guy was my buddy!

So the BluBine is supposed to kick in that door at the left end of the hallway. Right. He never did that on my attempts. I restarted it from the beginning twice and soon as I got to that point he'd just follow me and do nothing else. :/

Don't know if it's a bug or something, but I couldn't find a way to get past the first section following the BluBine into the hallway with cells on either side. Couldn't find any key cards or anything. Am I missing something completely obvious or is there supposed to be some trigger after BluBine blasts all his buddies away?

Gave this a try on Merciless Mod and your ally dies in the first encounter...lol. I think the map would be too hard on Merciless, anyway, as it is already quite challenging.

Really one of the best maps in the workshop, very challenging, and one of my early favorites. Only the repurposing of previously used map spaces from the campaign and a few janky spots keep it from being a perfect 10 for me. Great work! https://youtu.be/mJna6r001LA

Seriously, this was one of the best, if not, the best Alyx Mod/Map, I've played so far. Really good, very intense, never boring, keep it up! 10/10

Only little thing what I didn't realize in the beginning is where the Handgun was.

Excellent map! Not too difficult, not too easy. The only issue I encountered was getting the blue combine guy to move out of my way when I needed to go through a doorway. I've seen it in other maps. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Anyway, keep up the good work!

good map! had some issues at begining with the climbing as i couldnt holoport over it and if i tried to walk was hitting an invisibile wall but other than that was pretty good!

Really good, A+. In some ways it is even better than Alyx in that it makes you work hard to get a weapon - my weapon was barnacles there for a while. Do you take donations? I believe this deserves one. Its so long it could be an entire Chapter of Half-life - really very good!

Nothing Major. It was a fix for the witch glitch (if you killed her too quick the L4D witch audio would still play on a loop and never stop) And a fix for the end sequence not always working. Some other minor fixes and changes which I cant remember.

Thanks vrquest01. I did have more combine in the beginning but people complained that there were too many and too difficult so I reduced them. Its impossible to please everyone but I am glad you enjoyed it.

Une entity "point_hlvr_strip_player" trigger it when you want the player to be striped and have the trigger input be "StripPlayerQuiet" Add me on steam and feel free to ask me any question anytime. If I did it on my map I will have an answer, If I didnt use it I probably wont know the answer. lol

Use Entity Trigger_physics. Play around with the setting and you can increase, decrease, or reverse gravity. To get things to float I changed "scale gravity of objects in field" to 0. Under spawnflags ensure that 'client" is unchecked then check Physics objects and Physics debris.

Glad you liked it LtColonel. I watched your video and you definitely encountered some very unusual bugs. I dont think I can fix because none of them appear to be within the scope of designing this mod. Especially that audio (laughter) that played during the end sequence. I have no idea what that was. lol

What an odd, but satisfying map! I couldn't really understand what was going on, but I know that I really really enjoyed it! So many unique things that happened with this map, and the layout and areas were well thought out!
I did crash at the very last upgrade station, but that was the only crash I encountered. The first time through, I didn't pick up the Flashlight, due to my own stupidity, and I was unable to progress without it so I needed to reload a checkpoint.
All in all, a great map! One of my favorites! Thanks for the experience! I look forward to your future work!

Hey AspinDarkfire. I am happy you enjoyed it. But once you get to the final door thats the end. You just miss a 20sec end sequence with the Gman. I have to push one more update to fix the ending cinematic but I have been busy lately. Hopefully I get around to it soon.

So far the most technologically impressive mod I've played, weird story and moments but also some very unique things such as allied AI, climbing, and stealth sections. I loved this mod and hope to see more in the future!

I did a second run with the pistol mod enabled to double check if I can replicate the bug. I couldn't. For some reason it didn't happen again despite me doing nothing different.

Yes, it happened with every shot, the sounds would last for several seconds at a time, which overlapped as well. I am running my game at 35% volume which was already uncomfortable, at 100% this would've been absolutely deafening. Saving and loading did not resolve the issue. I'm doing my second run now without the glock mod.
