For me, it always inherits velocity. Certainly, if it didn't, it would be very difficult to put cannons on aircraft.

@dagriefaa I filed a bug report (https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/app/346010/discussions/2/2566438792568984086/) and let's see what the developers do about it. Once they fix it I will update the mod.

@dagriefaa Hi! I did some experiments with firing from a moving car straight upwards, but apparently sometimes the cannon ball inherits the horizontal velocity of the car, while sometimes it does not (horizontal velocity = 0). It might be an issue of the game and I am hesitant to update the mod if there is no consistent behavior in the game itself. It would be nice if you could provide me with more information!

This mod doesn't appear to take the velocity of the cannon into account. It'd be really cool if it did.

[update] Now the mod works with scaled cannons! Sorry it did not work before.

@fanzhuyifan I'm sorry I can't send you a screenshot.
If you set the power of the gun to x3, the errors in the calculations are catastrophic. The spread with this power even in" show error " does not show. If you can call it a spread.
I don't know if you can see it, but I shared a screenshot that shows that the cores are flying much higher than the specified trajectory.

@TTaJIac What kind of mistakes are you talking about? There is some inherent uncertainty in the initial speed of cannon balls which is built into the game. If you click show error you can see the range of predictions. Also because of how the physics engine works, choosing different frame rates will actually result in different trajectories.... There's nothing much I can do about that either...

As sad as it is. This mod sometimes (though almost always) makes mistakes in calculations.
