Hey, not sure if you saw but based on your suggestion I changed my Fudging Vassals mod to include this feature (confederation after vassalization).

Ah, okay. But ending a vassalisation means a very substantial hit in reliability, right?

It's not retroactive. But if you end the vassalization, then vassalize them again, you'll get the prompt to confederate them.

Does this allow me to confederate a faction of my own race that I have vassalised many turns ago?

That should be the text fixed for real now. I accidentally had the .loc text file keep the name of the vanilla one, which is a big whoopsie.

I think it might still be present, and I genuinely don't see what's causing the issue. I'm going to keep digging once I'm done with the brayherd overhaul.

You have to subjugate them using the Diplomatic Options mod.

When does the event trigger specificly? I beat Mannfred's armies into the dirt, and then took him as my vassal when I took Waldenhof, but 3 turns later I've yet to get the event.
