This is a nice train but in real life the acceleration is almost as poor as an old swedish dieselTrain. 3260kw with loco and vagons....

I used the model editor to set one of the games default gloss maerials for all gloss settings and now it looks ok. I didn´t have to change any color of the material, just set separate files fo the gloss.It looks light gray now, almost white.

Could you make the colors real like the color used by SJ? How to change the color? The mtl files use the same tga for gloss so if I make the color white it will look like a mirror. It seems I can update the mtl files to use another file for the gloss, but it´s much work and I was not 100% successful.

@Officer_Ivanov Not really, Amtrak did briefly use this train on the NEC and it was given an amtrak livery as well.

@Ozo - That's how it looks in real life. If you aren't happy with how it looks you can modify the materials in the model editor :)

It seems to be something wrong with the texturefiles (the crashdump seems to miss them when buying the train).

@Theapnerd: I have the same problem as the others, the game CTD when You buy the train in a depot.
The following error text occurs for me: Assertion `m_width >=2 && m_height > = 2' failed.

@Elje0ett I'm not sure why it's 3 off though, I only just noticed that. I guess it's because 3 is a better number than 6. I merely ported it over and tidied it up. So I don't know if there's a reason for it.

@Elje0ett The wikipedia page for the train says: The train's designated top speed is 210 km/h (130 mph). It reached 276 km/h (171 mph) during a trial run with double locomotive units in 1993. The maximum speed allowed in regular traffic is 200 km/h (120 mph) for safety reasons – the signalling system (and systems like the catenary) are not built for higher speeds, and it shares the track with regular trains (like in most countries); also, most of the lines it uses were built in the mid-to-late-19th century.

@Elje0ett I know, with the max designated top speed being 210km/h, I'm just replicating the original mod. It's all choice, you can change it in the mod files if you want. I tend to limit the train's speed by the tracks as its more realistic.

@Mortiz are you in the correct year? It should it appear in multiple unit electric section and separately for the loco and carriage, and just search SJ with the all section toggle and it should come up.
