"State Troops" means elector count state troops everywhere else though, this is needlessly confusing.

State Troops means Empire State Troops. Swordsmen, Spearmen, such like. Not the special regiments/

Emperor Karl Franz's Sons of the Reik skill not working on State Troops.
Checked with Carroburg GreatSwords, The Bordermen (outriders granade launchers). Haven't recruited more units to test, but probably won't work with any of them.

Hey tere, the "Dwarf steel" skill doesn't seem to apply to elector counts greatswords.
