Sorry, but I am not fond of the pen mechanic and prefer to keep my critters a bit more independent than pen animals.

Any chance some of these could be made into pen animals? I was hoping Packaroos, Pack Rats, and Rakali

Aw. Guess I'll need to attempt learning how to code. I'd love to have a mod like that, with worker rats and attack rats and all kinds of stuff. So, time to figure out how to make one!

No, because making animals do work requires knowing how to make assemblies, which I don't know how to do. I tried to copy the housekeeper cat at one point to make a housekeeper rat, but I couldn't figure it out.

Same, though I share that love with pretty much every animal. Completely different game, but I miss the Rats! mod for Minecraft. I don't suppose you have the kind of time and ability that would lead to something similar, where they can be trained to perform various useful tasks around the colony aside from fighting and hauling? If not, that's perfectly understandable, and I have a few mods that can somewhat handle that once they are updated, but just a thought for the future.

I'm a rat lover, so I learned how to mod because I wanted more rats in the hame, lols.

Might actually get it done today. Had a little time this afternoon and didn't get any red errors when I made them 1.4, so animals might not have had any changes at all. Gonna let the game run with some critters spawned in for a few in-game days and see if any errors come up.

Hoping to get around to it this weekend. No promises though.

Not a rodent, as you said. So mabey not for this mod. But that's totally something I could make. Mabey make it the primary mount for one of the races I've been working on.

You can have a grand army of pack rats! No workload is too much when you have so many heavy haulers.

Ok guys. It looks like the changes to animals were fairly minimal, so hopefully all my animal mods will work now. If they misbehave, let me know and i will try to get to it when i can. but life has been very unfriendly and busy.

I intend to. But life has been hectic lately and I haven't had much time for my hobbies. There has been a LOT of vet visits lately.

@ArmoredAmpharos do you plan to update for 1.3? I really love your rodent animals for traveling, would be a shame to lose them all with the new update :)

I've used this mod in save games for almost a year now and it's delightful. Scourge rats in particular are very fun in combat, especially when paired up with the animal enhancements from Genetic Rim- plus, they just look cool.

King Rat, they should all be updated now.

In case anybody was wondering, my Coldwarg is currently the only one with ADogSaid patch. I do intend to add it to my other mods at some point.
