i just came about a mod that gives structural integrity to nearby blocks, increasing resistances(hp?) of them. Would be nice to have beams that do the same to surrounding blocks. mmm i guess i could put one of those blocks on top of your beams.

its good when you have blocklimits and can still build large ships with that 6x6 blocks as they count just as one block.

Integrity is a thing in Medieval Engineers, it does it well, can't add or change to that in SE as it would require a full rewrite. That is something that will not be added.

What I can not wait for them to put in is structural integrity. Like real life structural integrity and not this oh you can go out 5 blocks but the 6th one will fall crap, so you end up having to put columns of blocks every 7-8 blocks just so you can support the next floor or roof.

Granted there might be a lot of bases (and I do mean a lot like 90%) of existing bases will give to SI. But it will make building on planets much more challanging
