For me it doesn't work. Some tunnels are visible, some of them are not visible or without walls :-/ And yeah, AI is seeing / shooting through the walls

praa_tunnels_large_ramp Is bugged on the Player Collision don't know if is a simple issue or more on Minimalaco part but just something to be aware of - (To Replicate us the named asset and walk in it and against the wall and you will move tho it - It only this asset that has the issue as far as I know)

Does this include the "tunnel entrance"-models that were included in FATA? (looked like small holes in the sand). I always used these as entry points to teleleport the players into the tunnel to make seem like you enter them.

@Frosted Vert This mod contains only objects to be placed in the editor. These tunnels are structures, just like houses. You can't place them under the ground since the ArmA engine doesn't allow that.
They're big ol' dirt cubes with a tunnel section inside. So you'll have to get creative in order to conceal that from the players and to keep their hopes and dreams for ArmA 3 tunnels intact.

@KillSmithID There are a couple ways around that:

1 - Place physical walls behind the tunnel walls, something like a concrete wall or a kill house panel That way the AI won't be able to get through them.
2 - Aim for a more trigger-based edition. Spawning the AI only when you're close to them (no big deal with that when you're in a tunnel).

They're big dirt cubes with a tunnel section inside, so you can create your own tunnel network.


@Ansible2 No, I was not able to get it since FATA has been discontinued and I didn't know how to contact them. Nevertheless, as I described in the description, all the credit goes to the FATA authors.

Any advice on good lighting for the tunnels? Flashlights and lamps do weird things when used in dark tunnels.

@Freudeheit What that module is supposed to do is to place the "statics" (interior decoration, like wood logs, columns, cables and stuff) on each tunnel section automatically. It currently has some issues with undefined variables. I'll see if I can fix it, but I can't make any promises.

@Zsombor0707 Interesting. I've been using it with multiple servers (both local, virtual machines hosted by HostHavoc and also on a dedicated server) without issue.

Take into account that this mod does not include server keys. That might be the issue.

@R.BLANCO Yes, of course. These tunnels are just items like houses or stuff that you can place anywhere you like in the ArmA 3 Editor. Beware, this mod doesn't allow you to create actual tunnels under the ground, since the engine doesn't support that.

They're bix boxes of dirt with tunnels inside.

@Alex Yes, that happens. I would love to try to fix that, along with the invisible corners that one can't shoot through, but I don't have the knowledge to do so.

This mod really has potential, the only thing thats irritating, is the fact NPCS wont walk when set inside, and sometimes when they walk, just randomly through the wall instread of the opening.

is there a way to restrict NPC movement to a specific area, like 10x20 so they'll be able to move only in that space, so i'd have to set it for every room.

I never play online, i just spend hundreds of hours to make my own crazy campaigns, i spend 3 hours builinding tunnels, only to find out the npcs clips through.
