the generator disappeared (twice) while I was off gathering other resources- I figured i could restock it with another rabbit if needed, but it was completely gone

So, basically it is like the normal generator but instead of gems or nitre it uses food as fuel. Neat.

The rabbit has to be fed. If the rabbit is fed it starts to run and produce some energy. This energy powers all nearby structures. It is possible that the power provided by the rabbit is not enough to power all buildings continuously. You may need to build more power sources then. If the rabbit keeps screaming this is a sign, that the food is out, I think.

The rabbit kept on screaming, I felt bad for laughing. Also was the power supposed to be only at 1 bar because it never seems to go higher than that.
