Hi IRO,

Yes only the church extension has its own skin in the station extension.
I do not produce custom models at the moment.

All of them, only "Church" is being textured with its own skin.
All the other extensions are working good , but without textures.
For ex.: 5 extensions are looking the same as default "Basic traffic extension building"
This is the only mod Im currently using for buildings / industry etc... I only have trains and cars.
Textures and models are properly displayed for all of the industry. Very nice !

Unfortunately, I have no control regarding the text that will show in Mashinky.
Maybe the developers will fix this in the future. But for now all we have is this. :steamhappy:

Thank you for your feedback, will look into the food shops as this was created 2 years ago and not updated ever since.

On the extension costs, this is a UI problem, where it cannot show long texts.

food shops seem too OP, since they create all tokens just from food. Very unbalanced in my opinion...

And some extensions are ok if they are not cheap, but if they are pricey, the numbers can't show properly in the UI so often I don't know how much an extension costs, if this is the case (no problem with higher price, just the UI problem)

Hi, I ran into a problem while progressing to III. epoch, no shops appeared, nor is it possible to build them.

Sadly doesn't seem to work with the latest patch. It creates a bunch of new production lines in shops and industries without any of the new expansions being built. For example the food shop now gives pretty much every resource token by default.

Hi @Jimmy G, It is fine on using this with Bigger factories but I think this mod will not fit with bigger Stations++. Due to limited number of extensions to a station. But you're welcome to try :)

@FBC-3342A It is still usable at the current version but it is quite outdated given that it is last update last October. I am still planning to update it as I'm currently looking for people who are interested working with me in the mod. Thanks !

Hi Solo Level Zeus, I patched the building_types.xml and changed all power output from effect="electricity+3" to effect="electricity+10". More than 10 seems not to work, and it only works for powerplants.

I also tried to patch your Torrefier and the Current Gasifyer, which had no effect.

But anyway: this solves a lot of energy problems. :steamhappy:

Hmm, okay. If it is not possible to add electricity production to these buildings there are other ways:
- you could add power production to those power plant expansions which don't have one, or maybe increase it where it is possible
- maybe you could take away power consumption from some buildings.
- the extension "Steam Sawmill" (or something like that, I play the German version where it is called "Dampfsägemühle") is a good example for a "hidden" power plant. It converts coal and logs to timber. Maybe you can do something similar for other buildings. In the 19th century it was perfectly normal for factories to have a steam engine power plant building right next to the factory. So maybe the formula "coal + ingredient => product" instead of "electricity + ingredient => product" could solve some problems.

It is all just a matter of balancing. :steamhappy:

Hi ralf.g.wirth. I actually thought about adding electricity producing extensions to those industries but sadly I wasn't able to experiment or search if that is possible because as I remember it can make the game buggy. Anyways look forward to some updates to address your concern thanks a lot!

One possibility would be to increase electrical output of the power plants. This may mean that I need new extensions for power plants, or modification of the extensions which are there.

Another possibility would be to reduce power consumption by the extensions in coal mines, the foundry, the steel mill etc.

Or, which would be my suggestion: please add new extensions to certain buildings, like the sawmill, the coal mine, the iron mine or the foundry. These extensions should provide electrical power, instead of using it.

I think it is realistic that these industries have their own built-in power plant, because in real life big industries sometimes have their own power supply too.

Well, I started in Era 1 on a 1024*1024 map and built up several industry chains. There are about 5 Wood Production Chains, 2 Iron and 1 Steel Production Chain and so on. I also added a lot of extensions to coal mines, sawmills, my foundary and the steelworks. All together they consume about 150 units of electricity.

When I advanced to the electrical era, I connected about 5-10 power plants of various types, all together they provide just 75 units of power. This is not enough by far, and I think there are not enough power plants on the map to increase electrical power significiantly. It would also mean that I would have to open more coal mines, which use power to. The power plants which I connected have all extensions which provide more electricity as well, so I cannot boost them any more.

Therefore I need more sources of electrical power. I think with the current configuration it may be impossible to provide enough power to run all industies.

Having played with this mod, I am running into serious power problems in Era 6. I am doing nothing else than connecting every power plant on the map in order to get enough electicity into my power net. And still after connecting 12 power plants or so my Power Consumtion in the net is like 150/75.

Would it be possible to create some small power plan expansions for some industries? This could help a lot. I am thinking of a power plant for the lumber mill or so. It is easy to get coal there anyway. Also the factory may produce some power. Or is there a limitation of the game that only power plants can provide electricity or something?

@QBanRambo Sorry for the misunderstanding. The earliest custom extension is in the 2nd era. In the early versions of the mod there are numerous upgrades in the 1st era. Sorry if we're not able to update the descriptions. Thank you for the notice!

Hi! @QbanRambo, we've tripled check the whole code and there's nothing wrong with it. We've also checked the current code of the game and there's also no major changes in coding. Also what era are you playing in? All the Coal Mine extension in this mod will show at 5th to 6th era.

@Solo Level Zeus I think your building_types.xml file has invalided characters in the comments section, if you load the file in Vscode you can see errors, same if you load the file in Google Chrome, I get errors in both.

Hi @QbanRambo! Do you have any mods that adds extensions to production buildings? If yes it will have incompatibility due to coding limitation. But if the extensions you have are only new trains, buildings and industries, the mod will still work

This mod has a lot of expansions, but it makes the whole game much much easier and therefore has little challenge.

Hi again @fw190a8! Unfortunately all our testing computers are of low specs and doesnt meet the requirement for 4096x2160 resolution. The highest resolution we have is around 1920x1080 also testing our mod in the 1024 map using the 1920x1080 resolution resulted in around 50 - 60 fps @ max graphical settings. What you're experiencing is likely that the game is not optimized for that kind of resolution. Also most of the buildings in our mod have higher edges (triangles) than the base game itself, so using it will probably stress your computer more than playing the base game itself. I was using 4096x2160 with no AA... I was playing on the 1024 map, and I notice that by reducing the draw distance, it improves the fps a lot, but some things are not visible when zoomed out! My CPU and GPU are not fully maxed, even when it is running at 8 fps, but I think this is a problem with the base game!

Hi @fw190a8! What graphic settings are you using? Are you using the max graphics settings? Also what is the size of your map? We've been testing testing this mod since the city update and so far we're not lagging in the 500x500 map, 6th era. We hope we can resolve your issue thank you!

While I appreciate the idea behind this mod, it's unplayable on i9-9800 and 1080 Ti, reaching 8 fps by era III. The base game continues to run smoothly at 60 fps in all eras.

If you can get the frame rate to stay consistent, or even just suffer a minor dip, it would be worth checking this mod out. In its current state, beyond the 2nd era, it's not playable unfortunately.
