Um for some reason the heavy cavalry units on Athens dissapears

What is the spartan mod that you use that changes the shields to look like that?

It is not a dumb question at all, friend. This mod changes the helmet basically of all greek units, such as hoplites, archers and calvary. Also, it creates new units to the Sparta faction. Summary, that's it.

Dumb question maybe...but, who does it affect?

mod seems to add several units to the spartan roster, which is not mentioned. a version without these roster additions?

Thanks! About the Carthanginian hoplites, they are not focus of the mod, so I left them unchanged.

Good mod, i like it. But maybe should you specify that your mod also adds units for Sparta such as elite swordsmen... It is not clearly mentionned in your description.

Oh and by the way you should check out ultimate corinthian mod. Those helmets look cool. But it still has some bugs, maybe you can help me fix those since the original author is predisposed.

No problem, buddie. Actually, I am not an expert on modding. I used a base mod made by VARIANVS (the other creator of this mod), and then modified a little using Total War: Rome 2 - MOD MANAGER. I moved some files and thats it. It was VARIANVS that did the hard work.

hey I had a problem with the mod. My Macedonian units loaded in with just the helmets and appendages. The officers were unaffected though.

I'm quite happy that this also affects the Hellenic units for Egypt

Speculatively , free lace , wild cat mercenaries just might have a retro , army surplus , look to them ?

Because this mod applies to Greek Hoplite Mercinaries , you could still get your Corinthian helmet fix even if you wanted to play a non - Greek faction.

I notice you said that you didn't mean for this mod to affect other factions , like the Seluecid's.

But I'm glad it does ! The Seluecid's are one of my three favorite factions.

And the lack of Corinthian helmets among the Seluecids was just as depressing as the lack of Corinthian helmets among Spartans and Athenians.

The Greeks great contribution to the world was their temple architecture , short skirts , realistic statues , and Corinthian helmets . :D
