Thanks! Just wasn't sure if "visibility" covered seeing everything in the affected regions, including ambushes, hidden encampments, etc. or just the armies / agents you'd be able to see normally.

I don't think, that's the description of the method that i use in the mod:
"Sets the shroud state of a specified land region to seen, for a specific faction."
It doesn't refer in any way enemy ambushes

Just to clarify - we're planning on taking down the old version entirely, it would become maintenance hell otherwise and a virus to the workshop. You can make the mod compatible with both in the meantime and then axe MCT 1.0-exclusive stuff when it's removed. You can gimme a shout in the Modding Den discord (linked in all my mods) for more help or we can talk through uggo Steam chat or some such otherwise, if you'd like some assistance making the change

Well, the first time we loaded it up, (1) he loaded a few seconds before me and, (2) he selected nothing -- leaving it at default, (3) and clicked Finalize. I am the host. A few seconds later, I clicked Finalize, and locked up. This was the first moment of the first turn of the campaign -- nothing had transpired yet. Thinking this is a fluke, we did the exact same thing except I loaded first and clicked Finalize. We did fine until a turn or two later, when my friend went into combat and fought a long, close battle. When we loaded back into the campaign map, he locked up. We disabled the mod after that and went another 30+ turns without incident.
