The Mali music was just too happy and was incongruous with the brooding aesthetic. Adding new Leader music is buggy as far as I know.

I think Mali's theme would fit better for Askia. That or just use his Civ5 theme

Oh how I wish he would pretty please make one of Catherine of Russia or bring it over into civilization VI she is by far best looking chick of the former game and every time I play this game I think of her when negotiating with Russia. Some one please with same animations of course cause I don't know how to do all that wish I did you guys are smarter in that field of thought any way hope this author reads this and makes one of her please.

@Kingmaker: The new icons and portrait only show up in config screens once the game is restarted at the moment. If I give the images new names and add more code then I can probably make it so they appear straight away. Will maybe get around to it later.

FYI, the Civ 5 Askiya leader gfx don't show in the civ selection screen.

I agree with Kingmaker. I would like to use Askia as an alternate leader for Mali simply because I have no desire to have the Songhai empire in my game due to imbalances with the improved civilizations mod.

Would it be possible to get a version of this with Askia as a second leader for Mali? There's such a lot of overlap between the two kingdoms.

These mods warm my heart Deliverator. It just makes me smile to see this Leaders fully animated once again in Civ VI.

@Cave Johnson: Not necessarily more difficult. Just wanted to find a way to make the fur texture look reasonable. I figured out a few tricks during the ones I've done so far so he's slated for Phase 2 also.
