idk if its just me, however the landing gear on this jet always gives out before i've even started it, the rear gear spawns at a 45 degree angle and gives out whenever i try to take off

could i reupload this plane, i gutted it and used it as a shell

This is the best F 35C ive ever seen in Stormworks. It has a great weapons it looks amazing and is ver detailed. It has a master caution when you to low and the cockpit is nice.

Great Job Killernumbertwo I hope you creat a the F 35b with VTOL

The Jet itself is very very nice and well detailed, it flies well and overall the steering and design is very well done. But the only thing that is not so good are the weapons and rockets. For an example when you shoot one of the rockets it either hangs on to youre plane, or just flies wildly around. It would be very nice to see an stabilisation or an Targeting system, but thats up to you. But once again very well made aircraft and I hope to see more from you like this.

This thing is very strong and when I dive nose first into a mountain, the only damage done to it is on the nose and occasionally the tip of a wing.

And killernumbertwo thanks, the refueling autopilot is one of my favorite projects. Unfortunately, due to it’s nature, it’s not exactly plug and play, it typically requires a significant amount of tuning depending on the aircraft. I could look into a modular version of it though...

pucker it’s evident you’re not very familiar with aviation terminology. To clarify, the f35 has 3 variants, the A, B, and C. The F-35A is the only variant with a refueling receptacle, which is a port for boom refueling in the middle of the fuselage. The B and C are equipped with probes mounted on the starboard nose, for “probe and drogue” or “basket” refueling.

oh and the f35c does have refueling, it uses a basket type like the f35b on the right side on the outside of the cockpit... idk what ghost is even taking about

I've got the shell of the F-35 B complete, but adapting the engine to make it a VTOL is proving to be difficult. Its in progress though!

Alpha, sorry about that. Fixed the fuel cell issue. Ill look into lowering the refueling port some time in the future.

and please check the fuel tank because it said -8 when I spawn it I did check the lines but I don't know where did you poke a hole so can see

can you lower the maintain bay because I can't really plug in the Refueling tube on the ground

RockAsteroid, I haven's implemented any kind of targeting system yet. I left space for one but I don't really want to spend the time and effort making one yet. Maybe if Stormworks gets some kind of weapons update. I currently have plans to make an F35B (VTOL) but sit tight, that will be complicated and take a bit.

And also is it possible to make it VTOL? (I think there is a version thats vtol, I only think)

Ghost, good catch, this plane started out as the F-35A but I got side tracked with a catapult idea i had and it morphed into an F-35C. I Absolutely forgot to go back and change that. Ill add it to my list of things to update! That's a very impressive automatic Aerial refueling feature your Nigthjar has by the way, any possibility of making a way to incorporate it in other aircraft? For science of course. :D
