Y'know, I wish someone would make a version of the knight and a version of hornet that used charms/crests and tools as a unique character thing, kind of like what barkun did with bar, or as abyss runes, or like with shovel knight, who pays to get upgrades.

the best way to beat this the knight is playing a zoner, because if you get close to him you lose and get into an infinite hit stun combo.

I dislike that you can make the recource infinite, even in a fair fight.

As others have commented this character is busted. It's obviously possible to beat him, but it's just not fun to play against something like this.

maaybe just dont subscribe and leave the hate elsewhere? maybe learn to play and dont be bad at the game? even the level 9 cpu is beatable, albeit hard, and accurate to the original game, if u cant stand it and suck at the game, either dont use it or dont look at it, if a friend uses it then skill issue, learn to deal with it, theres far more broken characters, take a look a cosmic ronald, it doesnt take a genius to figure out its an OPTIONAL thing, just because you dont like it doesnt mean others dont, matter a fact, its doesnt say anywhere its something invented, it quite literally says in the descriptio its a copy from the original game, so maybe DONT trash if you arent even gonna be accurate about it 傲气的蓝炎 your name may mean proud blue flame in chinese, but dont forget it also means arrogant flame in japanese :P

how do I play as the knight?

Noticed that while using Kirby's copy ability on this character, Kirby becomes disproportionately big.

Fighting this character feels like fighting the knight from the original game imported without any balancing. It has basically no lag on any of its moves, moves that cover its entire hurtbox so i cant even get close, and melee moves with so much range they can hit me WHILE IM COMBOING THEM and combo me into death. I love this thing, but it needs a nerf so dam bad.

My PVE win rate with this mod character is significantly higher than with other characters.
I don't have a problem with the fact that the character's AI is stronger than the others, but the fact that it's still stronger than the others when I use the character is the problem.I love this character but I'm pretty sure it needs to be nerfed in this mod.

There's a very strange bug that seems to exist for this character: whenever I select Shovel Knight while this fella's lined up his default skin turns weirdly pale and I also can't select the Knight's hornet skin. I don't know if maybe there's some conflicting code going on?

I think it's kinda lame to give the AI input reading and unexisting eye frames after certain attacks, still beat it anyways.

pro tip for those struggling with the ai, you can just jump over its constant commits and punish with a combo starter and then edge guard and you can never lose, or try parrying since it is very predictable

this character is stupidly op. the game becomes boring when playing as him because you just just juggle guys in the air the whole time and they cant do anything, then launch them with a void shriek once at 150%
