Is there a way to enable prelude content but disable prelude 2 content? We're trying to play just the base game with the base prelude before trickling new cards in...

I don't know how to script. If you want to add them, yourself, you can.

@Bmb92 Is it possible to could add a couple more special corporations. Theres a couple corporations that are custom in another tm workshop that we like playing with but would to be in your script. The creators name I think is Gregorydb. Its called Terraforming Mars - All the Stuff, It is so not all the stuff but we love the corps.

Try it one time. This time don't change any settings. Use the default settings.

I reinstalled the mod so it should be the most recent version I think. However it still says (Prelude 2, v2024-09-06) in chat when loading it

@bmb92 Bro, since you replied, just wanted to say so you know, this is the best tabletop mod EVER. It’s way better than even the official Mars game on Steam.

@Bmb92 so I load Terraforming Mars + Expansions (Scripted) and have a friend join. Then I activate Corporate Era Venus Turmoil Prelude Colonies and drafting and set Corporations drawn to 4. Then I click finish setup, wait for start game to get ready and press start game. Now I have drawn a corporation called "Sagitta", a prelude called "Preservation Program", and a project called "L1 Trade Terminal", none of which are real cards I think. Do you need any additional information? Can you reproduce this?

I've also double-checked the advanced settings and none of the fan-made stuff is enabled.

Specifically what fan-made card? Should be fixed now. Tell me if it is not.

We also had fan made Colonies today and I am quite sure that I did not enable then.

@TurtleTony... Hmm that shouldn't happen! Are you sure you edited the settings correctly? There are multiple pages. Please either send me your save game or tell me the steps you did to reproduce this bug. I will fix it.

@MattoFrank I will add the content if you find it in the workshop. Otherwise no, I don't have time.

The current version seems bugged to me. When starting the game, even though not selecting any fan-made content, coporations such as "Spire" and also fan-made projects are dealt out. Can this be fixed? I don't want to play with fan-made content.

Are there any plans of adding Automa-content? With or without scripting. No version of TM on the workshop has it :(

Underworld looks great !
A quick look make me think that the Ares Media corp is absolutely cheated, it's Tharsis on steroids with an additional bonus with events being face up.
It should only reward own city and cards, and even like that it will be a powerful corp !

I'll create a version this week where the corruption counter and excavation tablaeu don't spawn in until you click Finish Setup. I'll let you know when you can update.

Creator of Underworld here: Please note that this version wasn't intended to be uploaded to the workshop. As such, there's no way to disable the extra corruption counter and excavation tablaeu. If you want to play without those, use the link to Phaedrus' branch listed above.

To those wondering it appears there are only four official expansions in this and two unofficial/fan made expansions

- Hellas/Elysium
- Venus Next
- Colonies
- Turmoil

The two unofficial expansions inside consist of

- High Orbit
- Pathfinders

Overall while I appreciate the work that's been done here the inability of the poster to update it (they didn't design it) or to post what's included in the item remain points of contention for me. I'll be uninstalling and moving on now.

Can you update the description to have which expansions are included? As the game ages IRL more expansions are released and we have no idea what's actually in here as some expansions are tiny (like Prelude 2) and others introduce entire new ways to play (like automata). It would be great to know what we actually want to play is actually in here.

Had a weird bug today where my (white player's) activation tableau disappeared randomly in the game. Not sure what happened, but has this been seen before?

@Covfefe there is a separate tab for that. You need to press 'randomize awards' there and then it works

so... here is something awkward.
For some reason me and my friends don't see delegates. Like we can interact with them their models load properly but something is wrong with tokens and they are transparent
even if I change their model they stay either completly transparent or buggy(half transparent half... bugged textures)
is it just me?

Sounds correct. Press "Finish set up" Then "Start game". I just tried it. Hotseat works for me. Sorry I could not be of more help.

When I start the game (hotseat using basic rules), the 10 cards are drawn into my hand but no corporations are dealt. Am I doing something wrong during setup?

@Aaaarcenic, I'm not sure. Try to do it manually before and after starting the game.

For the promo pack prelude cards (Merger, New Partner), how do I add them into the deck before starting the game?

While activated, corporation sistemas seebeck cannot find the proper cards with effects or actions that use energy production or energy. It will just search throughout the deck and find nothing.

I think you have to "Right Click" on the space ship on the mat in front of your player to go to the next turn too.

After clicking on "End Turn" it does nothing and doesn't go on the next phase...

Super impressed with this. A fantastic experience. Much thanks to the brilliant individual who put this together. I own the irl game + 3 expansions but wanted to play with a friend in another state. We only used the prelude expansion. He beat me by 3 points because I funded the Thermalist award which he qualified for. :/

the host is red player, and i'm yellow player. Sometimes the game doesn't count my points at the end and I'd have to manually count

Known issues:
Cards that build cities on Venus do not auto-place the city tile nor markers.
Noctis City card does not auto place city tile nor marker. (On the map that has the reserved Noctis City Area)

Preludes / Corporations that draw cards with floater tags do not search the deck for the tags correctly. It draws any card as far as I can tell.

Everything is scripted in this. You can try the alternative version, linked above, that gives you access to the complete card decks.

Is there a way to access the complete decks of cards, including corporations to start, if we want to try a specific corporation? Or, does it need to be randomly assigned?

By solo, to be clear, I mean you alone - no other players or AIs.

So, uh, you *can* play this game solo IRL. The rules include a way to do so, and the board should have a TR rating starting position marker for you, look at... 14 I think? Should be a blue "SOLO" by it.

The official digital version of the game includes this as well.

Thank you. It appears that after clicking "finish" there is another player mat on the main side, I'm guessing that is the AI. Thanks. I was able to suffer through about 5 minutes of that youtube video to which you linked, you definately explained about 5000% percent better than anything in that video.

You don't play solitaire. You play Terraforming Mars with the AI... After you click on "Single-Player" in the TTS main menu. Click on "Workshop", and then find "Terraforming Mars". Once you have Terraforming Mars opened up, click "Finish Setup", then "Start Game". After your first turn, right or left click on your space ship on your mat in front of you to go to the next turn.

I wouldnt mind playing against a single AI opponent, but there doesnt seem to be one, does there? Doesnt selecting "single-player" give you only one play mat? And you play solitaire against the clock? Or am I missing something again?

If you want "Pass and Play":
- Select (in TTS main menu) "Create"
- Select "Hotseat"
- Choose the number of players
- Select Terraforming Mars game
- Select your in-game seats/colors
- Then start a Terraforming Mars game.

If you want to play by yourself:
- Choose single player in the TTS main menu. I think you can only have 1 AI opponent.

I am very new to TTS. Am I understanding correctly that when I choose to create a game via "Single Player", I do not have an option to select the number of players? I cannot use play and pass, but may ONLY play with one player mat? Or am I missing something?
