Whoo, alright, a whole lot to take in at once.
So on the first note, about the animations, that's all my bad. I ripped the images from [S] Collide but when I used them, they were WAY too big, so I had to cut them down. I don't have a 'pro' photo editor so they came out looking more blurry than even I wanted to. Again, sorry. The up b was supposed to be him flying, as a god tier (but I can 100% see how that isn't clear), and I had literally no idea what to use for dattack so.... For the n special I can see why you're upset, but I didn't have a lot of sprites to go off of and with tons of online classes and other stuff, having coded him in a week flat made me get excited and I posted him a bit too early. As, for the hitboxes and launch angles and stuff I can totally see your stance on that and I will try to get to work ASAP. Thank you for the constructive criticism, though, and have a nice day!

Fair is tiny compared to all the other moves and has a weird launch angle? fair is a better juggling tool than uair which makes no sense, a fair should not have a angle like this. down b is just a bullshit move and sets up for a free kill, neutral b doesn't have a purpose because he doesn't need to zone because dirk can easily set up combos and engage on top with huge hitboxes, I do like the idea of side b when in the air but it doesn't have combo potential which is a missed opportunity. Dirk right now is very busted and braindead to play and doesn't have much original ideas for his moves which sucks because homestuck is a gold mine for ideas and please work on smooth looking animations. nair is basically half the stage and it doesn't even follow the model on the left side, nair can combo into itself, and can completely deny some people from recovering offstage this move is VERY busted and is mashy as fuck, bair goes in front of him and super far back allowing for fair to combo into bair when the enemy is in front of dirk and if youre near ledge thats a free spike, bair is crazy its a combo starter, combo ender, disjoint, easy as fuck to use for edge guard and it spikes too. Dair is very weird and just feels like a very slow sandbert dair, there isnt really a reason to use this move because of its huge startup lag, uair feels incomplete, it has a fixed knockback of basically nothing and i think you can fall out of it too? it doesn't have a finishing hitbox so its not even for juggles because with no finisher hitbox they just fall out of the move after, DDD and palu uair seems to be what you were going for but it does everything those moves do worse. I have a few things to say about this mod and im kind of disappointed in how it all turned out because im a big homestuck fan. I know its hard to make animations for characters but I feel like you just ripped images and made some shit up. a lot of moves don't have much inspiration, lots of moves feel ripped from cloud in smash, there is plenty of stuff from homestuck to use for moves. neutral b side b, up b make no sense to me because both of these aren't in the web comic. Dash attack and side b have the same rocketboard idea which is kind of lazy. Balancing wise this character is a huge mess, utilt is slower than usmash which makes no sense, there is no reason to use utilt over usmash even when they share the same hitbox and animation. All of the hitboxes are super big for no reason, these are disjoints to a new level (part 1/3 because steam doesn't let me post long comments)

Yeah, I agree. Dirk is my favorite in the main comic and I'm interested in his development in HS^2 but I'm sure some people wanted to see John or Vriska. Now that I think about it, I have a John spritesheet! But I need to fix Dirk's skins first.

@Snolid Ice That's a good suggestion, but whenever I do that, the last hitbox does no stun, like the previous hitboxes cancel it out or something. Weird.
