I didn't realize this project is still active. I made a bunch of small improvements to the sizes of the objects and snapping into places more accurately. I made some tweaks to the cauldron the follow the rules a bit more accurately. I'm not sure I can give the updates to you easily though.

Can confirm the library was failing for the triple positive/negative potions. Replacing the old useBookToken function (line 1017) with this one fixes it:

Something a friend of mine experienced just a couple days ago was that the book tokens weren't exactly showing the information of some ingredients. For instance, if Mushroom's formula was r+g-B+ (which would make it Lunar), it would say Solar instead.

I did a little bit of digging in the code for the cauldron and commented out the code on lines 1028-1030, only for code on line 1034 to throw an error only when the cauldron would give the wrong information, never when it gives correct information.

I'm not sure where the issue truly resides, but we're both hoping this could be fixed somehow.

Now everything works fine. Could have been a caching bug or some temporarily error, sorry for that.

Probably because they're all based on whoever created the first scans, nothing I can do about it sadly. Since I don't own the game I can't add the missing parts either.

There are several missing models as it seems to be in all Alchemist mods.

There is a little setup required whether you play with the app or cauldron; I will add the rulebook to the workshop description and in-game notes. For a game with cauldron, also put the "end game" token into the cauldron and press "new game."

How do i start the game? I didn't understand how to use the script. Where do I have to put the end game token or whatever?

Generating a new code in the middle of the game is 100% a problem. What do you think of saving the code in the cauldron's description? That way it would be fully persistent and easily checkable.

Carlos, the error you mention is not related to the one I fixed. However, I tried to replicate it but couldn't, it seems to be working fine every time. I see that clicking on undo generates a new code, but even then is the same code for everyone.

Me and a friend noticed the save/restore after a very confusing game. The next time we played, we never saved nor went back in time (which also changes the code) it still didn't work properly. it showed one person one thing about an ingredient and another for the other person. I can not trust the cauldron.

Right. Keep in mind that you still need to load the code using the cauldron (the code is still random each time you load the mod). 'Load the code using the cauldron' means creating the note with 'expecto codigum' before saving, and then putting that note back inside the cauldron and clicking on load when you want to load the codes back. This was working fine most of the times restoring the values for the base game but not for the expansion... AND there were cases where the generated code was useless, leading to an error when loading and being unable to restore the saved values at all... this is loosing your saved game completely , expansion or not. This should be working fine now.

The Golem Expansion is amazing. I don't care for the the other parts of the expansion, the starting item cards and alternate order tracks. I think they make the game too random.

I haven't played the golem expansion, so I'm not exactly sure what's supposed to work or not, but I'll have a look at it later. Also, resetting the game (or save+loading) kills the cauldron and you have to reseed it - my cauldron also "broke" last game.

Great job! Much better. The only thing I'm not seeing is the overlay for the lady selling the artifacts when playing the Golem expansion. Am I missing something?

Beware the cauldron. Twice, I've played with a friend and it messed up making a whole game worthless. I will only play with the app.

Yes, I agree that using the app is more fun, but the cauldron is safer I guess.

I removed the cauldron because I thought using the app was more fun but it I will add it back later tonight; people can always choose not to use it.

It's a nice improvement on the layout over the original mod. Way better. Love these new hidded zones, more translucent. Really nice work. Sadly, the cauldron is now gone, and that's a huge disadvantage since there is no way to avoid cheating by scanning ingredients (without the need to use a student or yourself )
