Works perfectly fine for me.
You can use slime to skull upgrades or just the gem upgrade. They dont work at the same time.

Basic -> Slime -> Gold -> Skull
Basic -> Gem

The upgrades can only be applied with mouse (not with controller) and like other comments already stated, the upgraded structures only display vanilla recipes.

I was able to craft some of the upgrade items, but when I tried to use them on machines, nothing happened. Is this a bug, maybe a conflict, or was I doing it wrong?

ok i still love this mod but i am wandering why there is no iron upgrade it would fit perfectly between the slime and gold upgrades and a diamond upgrade would be cool as it would be the next upgrade after the gem upgrade

Broken sort of. Gem is best tier, better then skull, doesn't require other tiers.

Doesn't support other modded items. You have to build two of everything. One that is upgraded and one that is regular if using other mods that require vanilla structures.

The third tier is overpriced. I've never had 50 great skulls in any game run.

Otherwise a useful mod.

this is extremely brocken.. i just started the game and got oil from the market.. 2h later i had 500 electronics and 400k money left and didnt even needed the lighthouses or the whole magic tree

If you want upgrade furnace, anvyl, etc.
Just craft upgrade and place him on hotbar.
Click this upgrade on any producing structure.
Important: You can't upgrade "Skull"/"Slime"/"Golden" with "Gem" level. (I tried)

Tip: use the normal upgrades until you can afford a lot of power plants
then, use the gem upgrade with the power plants for maximum efficency

can you update this mod and add a new tiers with higher speed and drops, example for void tier to make speed x8 and drops x4, void tier will be after gem tier and make gem tier put only after skull tier, cosmos tier have x10 speed and drops x5 or x6 or max x10

My upgrades follow the same pattern as item upgrades (excluding gem). You can get a slime, gold, and skull wallet, but no iron wallet.
