@Ligma Bababooey Increase the mod's priority. Some reskin mods alter the same files, so they can't both apply.

it does not work for me in og shogun 2 campaing only in fots and I dont get why all I have is some reskins and unofficial patch 17 placed at the bottom just in case

@LordRojdix11 that sucks... but thanks anyway. Love the mod. It removes the need to keep long lines to maximize fire. I know it's not historically accurate but it makes it so fights with AIs aren't heavily onesided when they dont bother to maximize their lines.

I just don't think it would be right to reupload someone else's entire overhaul mod for a simple change like that.

@Gnasty Gnome They aren't compatible. If you want all-rank fire with Skirmish Line: Gameplay Overhaul (FotS), you can add it yourself pretty easily. Simply download Rusted Pack File Manager from the Github page by Frodo45127, you can find the latest relase on the right side of the screen when you open the page. Get the.zip file, extract it and run it. Open the mod's .pack file, you can find it under Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/34330/3386899335/Skirmish_Line.pack.
Inside the file you go to db/unit_stats_land_tables, click through all the files in there, you will find multiple tables for different unit kinds. Simply scroll to the right until you find the column All Ranks fire and enable it for the units you want.

It was Better Gun Ranges. If I load it after this mod it suddenly seems to work. Anyway, the incompatibility has been mentioned on both of these mod pages and I appreciate your response to my comment. It seems so obvious now.

@Pepe I just tested the Otomo gunpowder units and they all do have functioning all-rank-fire. If this isn't working for you, it might be a compatibility issue with another mod that alters their stats.

@PeteThePuertoRicanPelican I tested it just now, and everything worked as intended. Might be an incompatibility issue where a mod that edits Ikko Ikki Matchlock Ashigaru took priority over this mod.

@Pablonov Black Bears are supposed to have bayonets, so it's probably a mod on your part which edits Black Bear Infantry stats taking priority over this mod. Bumping up the Bayonet mod in the priority list may fix it.

Implemented a fix for a bug I just discovered which prevented Hattori and Ikko Ikki Matchlock Ashigaru and Hattori Matchlock Samurai from continuing to fire after shooting off their initial loaded guns.

Thank you for this mod. Gave me an idea as to how to make it compatible with darthmod. For anyone interested, you can open the bayonet mod integrated with Darthmod in PFM and tick all_ranks_fire for all the gun units under units_stats_land_tables

@HowdhiPartnha This isn't the same as in Warhammer. Singular models won't magically shoot through friendly men and only fire when they have clear sight. Friendly fire outside of a unit is also still a thing. Though the mod does indeed make gun units more powerful than in vanilla.

I don't know why you made units fire in all ranks to be honest. That's not very realistic. Would only work if you where in a very steep hill. This is what CA did with warhammer and looks silly. + It breaks the balance of the game also making it easier. But this would be a good mod if its wasn't for this futures i guess...

Yes, I am aware of that, I've been playing with the Fots Tactics & Uniforms mod and my own mod for years at this point :)
It works because the mods do not edit the same tables, thus they are 100% compatible.

@LordRojdix11 The mod actually works with the Fots Uniforms & Tactics mod, replacing the default fire with the all lines fire. Kneeling and fire by rank still work as normal.

@Xaelyn This is a change that is made in order to make the weapon of the Tosa Rifleman unit compatible with the mod. The reloading animation and reload rate of the weapon are two separate variables. Please rest assured that their fire rate is not decreased

Hey, just letting you know that your mod causes the Tosa riflemen to incorrectly use the muzzle loading animation (like in older patches) which harms their fire rate.

@™ Ondospleb.eu I have checked your statement right now and confirmed that all Matchlock units of the Ikko Ikko do indeed have all_ranks_fire enabled. Perhaps you are using a mod that affects the units already and they are conflicting?
