It's a common issue with all electric trains. You have to make sure the entire route is electrified, including little sections between junctions, all the station platform tracks used in the route, and the line from the depot...
It happens a lot that players can miss one tiny section of track when electrifying.
It's my Dad's old models for MSTS. That game didn't have opening doors, so they weren't "modelled in", it's just a flat surface with doors drawn on them.
If I were to include opening doors, I'd pretty much have to re-build the models.
A very good chance as it turns out... I was rummaging through the source files my Dad gave me again last night and discovered Southern and Connex liveries for the 4CIG which I must have overlooked or forgotten about...
I know that WarPyro already plans to make every livery anyway, but having had a chat with him already I'll be getting these original ones from my Dad converted.
haha sixth sense!
Thank you again Killa!
any chance of a southern/connex livery anytime or leave it to 3rd party artists?
I guess I'm lucky really. My Dad's a programmer so I've always been around computers growing up, but our shared passion was always model railways.
But back in around 2002 ish I started getting into 3D to add new tanks to C&C Renegade. I then joined the Derelict Studios lads making tanks and various other vehicles for the Blitzkrieg 2 mod for C&C Generals.
At the same time, my Dad got into 3D to make trains for MSTS. We were getting into it and learning 3D, separately, at the same time for a few years and had no idea until it came up casually in conversation... It came as a surprise to both of us...
This will fit perfectly on a suburban British map, thank you very much :D
