If you want max advantage (or realism), use this mod if your numbers are slightly lower than opponents and my last mod if you have an advantage an want to roll over a fortified post with less damage. Even then, it depends heavily on unit composition. The native autoresolve rewards heavy dps units, esp javs and archers. It rewards cav heavily as well except in settlements and against spears. I increased cav effectiveness in open battles but kept their weakness against spears and fortifications.

@dragonfable: This mod provides the most benefit on defensive stance. Your results are way out of line of my extensive test results. You tend to lose here if outnumbered but the losses are minimal compared to most autoresolve. Make sure you use the defensive button.

VS 2 levy spear, 2 levy archer, 1 cavaly.
and one of my huscard always completely annihilated even try 3 way of auto, so it doesn't help

It helps the AI and the human. For field forts, settlement battles and bridges, the defenders get an additional advantage vs the other side. If the other side is human, the human will still have the slight buff from the main mod.

This is necessary in those tedious 400 vs whatever battles. At a certain point it's no longer about skill and it just becomes a game of how much tedium can you tolerate before you quit. Much appreciated.

My bad wording. The cheat option is the defend or protect button. It works for both attacks and defensive engagements. The outcome will heavily favor you even if you are slightly more likely to retreat than if you chose the middle button.

There is a bit of overflow in the other categories, but it is 90% buffing the Defensive button. That means that you will still retreat often but with fewer casualties relative to the AI. Also, projectile heavy armies (and to some extent siege) will do better with this mod and cavalry will have a higher survival rate.

I'd have to look. They use different methods so I am guessing that you will get better results with both buttons. Better would be to accentuate the improvements in this mod or that.

if i have this and your 'professional modders' autoresolve mod will both be active in-game? As in will it be the case that 'aggressive' makes the 'professional modders' edition kick in and 'defensive' makes this kick in?

Based on what trials? Feel free to pm me. Read the notes. It is improved vs normal. So the middle attack autoresolve may have a better outcome than choosing defend autoresolve even with this mod.
