thanks for updating this jade happens to be one of my favorite materials and i've been using kijin's ultra fancy walls tech to make use of jade all over my base and literally just remembered floors.

I am aware that this mod wasn't *originally* your creation, but could you see yourself ever doing something similar with the new obsidian resource? Just like jade, it seems weird that it has been left out of vanilla for flooring purposes.

Just wanted to let you know that your continued efforts to keep this usable are very much appreciated, even if the comment section is mostly silent these days! I love making floor patterns in my tombs and temples with these tiles!

It's been like a year But comparing to like gold floors, that use 70 pieces, I do think an adjustment is appropriate.

(Disregard jade club comment - I was thinking obsidian, since it's waaaaay past my bedtime - oops)

I note the description says "has 3 beauty, like the other smoothed stone floors." In 1.4, smoothed stone floor has Beauty 2. A Beauty of 3 seems to require 20 stone... I might prefer jade floors to be 3 beauty at a higher cost, to be a better match with vanilla? Maybe 12, to match the steel requirements for spikecore plates?
I have a lot of jade and I finally remembered the name of this mod, so I can go ahead and do something useful with it again :)

The jade club is, traditionally, a wooden club studded with jade shards. Do an imagae search of macuahuitl to get an idea of what it might look like.
A solid jade mace would probably shatter if you used it.... But what do I know; maybe it could work :)

I kinda feel like making Jade metallic is outside the scope of his mod. Maybe a mod that added "stony" to the weapons mentioned. If I have time after updating mods, I could easily put that together. Best would be to swing by the Discord channel and remind me

can you add an option tick to make jade metallic? It does not make sense that a jade knife can exsist, that you could carve a jade club, but somehow not make a jade mace or gladius.

Yeah, I've added the FineFloor tag directly already in my prototype. I'm rebalancing a bit as I go, too; the vanilla numbers have changed quite a bit since B18 and so I need to compensate to put the balance where I'd like it.

I think the only major thing to consider would be if you wanted to add the "fine" tag for Royalty. I'm looking at my version now and I did it through a patch. Which you don't actually need to. It can be added into the base def. I must have done that before I owned the DLC.

That sounds fine to me. I've got a version mostly ready, but I'll compare against your version before release and credit you for any improvements I end up integrating.

OK, a little more time to respond today...nihiltres, the best course would be for you to take the files from this mod, (I don't remember what changes were made for 1.1. Some mods didn't need much but it's been a while.) Update or release on your Workshop page and then I will change the visibility of this one to hidden.

That way, current users won't suddenly be missing a mod but future users won't be able to see it and will instead see yours. Make sense/sound good?

Hi, I'm the original mod author. I'm playing RimWorld again and getting my mods updated. I appreciate that you made a version that kept the mod available while I was "away", but I'd like to "take over" this mod, or … move to a version I control, one way or another. I can technically force the issue, since it's an explicit adaptation, but I'd rather a friendly handoff that works well for players. How do you want to go about that?
