Instead of a research, it should be acquired from a mission reward or the Scavenger Market, so it stays consistent with how other epic weapons are acquired and fits in with the rest of the game.

You have 2 buttons Enhanced parry and Parry. I will now use the regular Parry, it only block 1 attack instead of the broken enhanced 4++ parry.

I also just tested enhanced parry, parried the 3 attacks done that turn.

I'm pretty sure that the enhanced parry isn't working properly, I managed to parry 4 attacks in one turn, and now that I know it exists, it's very broken. I'm going to assume this is caused by this mod since nothing else I have effects the parry.

Or have them be Scavenger exclusive like the rest of the epic weapons, and only give them the damage buff with mastercrafts.

I would also like a prerequisite for the research.
The gauntlet is very powerful, it should be unlocked with a masterwork weapon research.

Started a new campaign and found the "Sucker Punch gauntlets" Assembly available from the start. Wondering if it should have a prerequisite, like maybe Modular Weapons, same as the other weapon improvement Assemblies. Also, maybe capitalise all the words, "Sucker Punch Gauntlets".

My game crashed with this mod. Removed and worked fine. Turned back on after troublesome mission (first atlas mission). However, since the mod was disabled the new gauntlets are gone and cannot be repurchased. Any way to get gauntlets back?

I think it's the game, I have this mod and it works fine, but another mod that buffs Zephyr and Axiom's melee attacks causes me to crash when it worked fine for everyone else so go figures.

To be honest, until core game stability is fixed, it's hard to tell whether it's the game or the mod.
Technically only thing it does is defining new item, skill and effect which if anyhing - should crash instantly as either of those is created and not during actual tactical gameplay.

I think that overall the game loses a lot of stability when any mods are enabled at this point.

not sure whats going on but I went into a mission with this mod active and it crashed every turn. Tried it thrice. I then removed the mod and no issues with my game after that.

nice, i wondered why she doesnt get upgraded weapons, there is a another mod that upgrades her damage via armor research too

I have updated the package, the gauntlets now have a red icon and there should be a proper working 2-charge "Enhanced Parry" ability.

Although i'm quite sure it won't apply retroactively to already existing gloves.

I had finished all the available research options prior to installing this mod. I was not able to research it until after I unlocked new research items (by defeating a faction). I was then able to start research for the Sucker Punch.

I didnt mean the actual gloves themselves ... no idea if it is possible but i meant the blue effect when zephyr punches or kicks something or when she activates reaper ...

Also the actual look of the gloves cannot be changed really, Firaxis went the cheap way and gloves are part of Zephyrs model and actual weapon has no mesh.

awesome mod ! just what i was looking for !!! gameplay-wise its perfect ... any chance you will add a visual effect to the gauntlets ? like instead of the blue efx maybe change to another color like green (plasma) or purple (psi) .... just an idea ... thanks for the work

Not sure why this is the case, it might be some meta tied to fact that it's a 4 turn long research.

so after i finished a mission it still didn't work but i tried a few other things since i had the intel i tired to upgrade the other types of field teams to see if that had an effect after saving and reloading because i only had enough to do it once i found that when i got a rank 3 tech field team the project unlocked for me.

only mod i have on is yours. only difference i can find in my game and the pictures is that you have two people in your assembly. i could try finishing a mission to see if when i get back to the home base it fixes itself.

It actually has no set prerequisites and from my testing it worked fine both in fresh and existing campaign so i'm not sure what's the problem here unless it conflicts with some mother mod.

The research is grayed out and says at the bottom THIS PROJECT HAS UNMET PREREQUISITES. is there more needed to start the research because it says i only need 40 elerium and i have 239.
