Thanks for the mod. Pressing Claim and Hold Open for every door on a Real Ruins map or even vanilla caravan maps was so incredibly annoying. Now my colonists can explore freely.

A divine mod that solves my deep frustration of seeing eroded and patched-up rocks.
This is exactly what I was looking for.

It just sets the fog on the map again. Some things can't be used inside fog, some things can, it's dependent on the thing.
I mostly added it as a visual thing for hiding fake rock, as I said in the description :p

How hard would it be to put an option in to disable the fog of war completely? I use CAI mod and with this mod in it sort of highlights the mountains with its own fog.

It should apply to every Thing_Door that's there after map generation is finished, including generated by Real Ruins.
(If Real Ruins patches the same function that I do, my patch might apply before theirs gets a chance to generate the doors, so if it doesn't work, I'd love to hear about that)

Update for 1.4 out. May or may not error on first start if you had previously installed (I renamed one of the settings)

this is the entire code changes in the mod
After Map Generation -> take every spawned thing that is [a door, and doesn't belong to the player] -> set its owned faction to none

Only way I could think this is if the raiders would be taking ownership of the door and then regenerating the map

I don't know, but it happens with the mod on but doesn't when it is deactivated.
I have tried re enabling the mod and it happened the next raid. Turned it back off and waited for a raid and no problems.
It is a odd enigma for sure.
Sux cause I really like the mod, but some reason it doesn't work for me.
I am thinking it is clashing with another mod I have tbh, thou I don't know how to make a list of 'em without typing them all longhand.

the mod only changes map generation by setting all doors' owners to nobody

Yeah, with the mod activated they were going in and out of the doors I built myself.
I thought it was weird too... like a glitch or something but they don't do it after I deactivated the mod.

If you claim the doors, they shouldn't be able to just walk through them

@WiseOldWeaboo It unclaims, so nobody owns them. You will be able to just walk through them as if they were yours, and so will enemies.
If it claimed them, enemies inside buildings would have to fight their way out of their own builds.

This unclaims or "Claims" Doors when you load a map? Aka useful for something like pristine ruins to automatically claim doors so you dont have to manually? Or have i misunderstood lol
