DUDE I FOUND IT!!!

The "Draconic Base" addon conflicts with this and is why the loading screen gets stuck. at least for me. Give that a try! HELL YEAH DUDE!

I enabled/disabled a few addons at a time and found the conflict. I have a Skyrim level collection of mods so that was tricky.

After seeing this, I decided to try again. I had all the requirements and L4D2 mounted, but it still wouldn't load as the loading bar still gets stuck two bars short. Also the text was actually "Lua Started!". I'm sorry bro, but your map won't load for me. I'm still sticking to NIPPER's de_haunts.

I was excited to experience The Haunted Mansion, but the map won't load and gets stuck 2 bars down in the loading bar with the text saying something like "All Lua Files Recieved!" something like that? Anyways, 0/10. I would just stick to NIPPER's de_haunts as the closest thing to riding The Haunted Mansion in GMod.

Managed to fix this one. After tearing my hair out as to why all of a sudden a map that worked before now doesn't I found that GMod for some reason decided it didn't like a specific model. That's the problem with any of the maps that aren't loading and I'll get those fixed soon.

I went ahead and played with some new water shaders with the Rivers of America as well.

I couldn't get any more of Dives' maps to work the way I wanted them to so I abandoned those projects as well. Any future map development is going to Source 2. I've got a few working prototypes to see if this map will run on Source 2. I won a mapping contest last year with the Eagle One team for a scripting concept based on the Haunted Mansion portion of this map. When I have more time, I'll follow up on that. Yeah I can confirm that 1 and 3 crash anytime I try to load it in.

I'm struggling with that too now, odd. It wasn't doing that before, must be a GMod bug. I honestly don't know if there's a way for me to fix that.

Strange, I don't think Source will let me, I considered it. These maps are rather large and detailed and there's a limit on how much you can include on one map.

Part 4 I'm going to be starting on soon and not needing the wheels was something I considered. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to use them in GMod.

Can you make Part 4 (or at least a version of it) where it the log goes through the whole ride without having to stop to retrieve wheels? So that the ride itself can be enjoyed on Garry's Mod?

As for the water, it seems like there's something weird with the reflections? I'm not entirely sure I can do anything about that, but I'll look at it.

I noticed the corpse as well, Trench. I'll have to figure out a different way to hang him. I figured he doesn't look *bad,* just *wrong* for the time being. He's supposed to be connected to a ball joint that lets him swing. I put together an update that I'm pushing shortly that should at least fix the trees and restore some of the Ghost Host narration for now.

I'm doing the maps one by one, so just when I have time to work on them. Map 4 is probably the most technically complex so it might take longer to figure out than the last three. Map 5 probably won't require much work at all, it's rather small and there's very little in the way of technical complexity. Regardless, every map has been a challenge in its own way, so we'll see.

If you are talking about those really stretchy trees. that was caused by a Gmod update who added a support named $Treesway.

I encountered a simimliar issue on that Clean version of The Motel From Dark Carnival. it oddly enough seem to mostly affact Left 4 Dead Maps.

I honsetly wish there was a console command who allowed you to disable that support.

Part 1 had a big issue with weird stretchy swaying trees. I didn't bother changing them because they didn't look broken, just weird. This one has pine trees with no branches and textures out of a N64 game.

Just noticed that some trees are weird? Must be a L4D2 glitch with the model. I'll see what I can do about fixing/replacing those. They're only really in the pet cemetery atm.
