1.private military that will attack anything or specific empire according to priority and policy set by the player
2.private shipyard that will sell ships to other empires, including ships other empire don't have access to because they don't have the techs

For the last bit, I have joined forces with another modder and we've started work on another mod, with similarities to this one but built from the ground up, to hopefully address some of the issues with this mod but still provide some similar experiences. It's definitely a new direction, but I hope that many of you will join us at the new mod to help provide feedback and contribute to development.
Initial launch of the new mod around 10 April. After careful deliberation, we decided to upload on 2.8 so that players that don't like 2.9 might still experience it. And we will work on delivering the 2.9 version quickly after the update goes live.

it hasnt gotten updated in a quite a while but it still seems to work according to some people
Also there's a Bug Reports thread for you to say that the game crashed on you because of this mod.
I appreciate all the interest people are expressing but I do just want to reiterate that this IS an alpha build. If you expect it to work seamless with any other mods, even by ITSELF, that's not where we're at.
