@thijmen2017: Depending on what the AI Overhaul does, and depending on load order, the interactions may be:
- There is no overlap, so both mods work well together.
- There is overlap, and my mod overwrites the behaviour.
- There is overlap, and the AI mod overwrites every behaviour of my mod.

@Uberknight72 : I didn't checked, as I've been doing things for other game. I think the base game have something similar to this now (But less deep: They just negotiate with Crime Lords if there is a Criminal Empire Branch Office on the planet).
I will check it and update it tomorrow.

@brood: I just checked its code, and both mods should be perfectly compatible with each other. There are no overlaps, so, load order doesn't matter.

@Dettinger: Welp, that error it's certainly not from this mod. Maybe you intended to post that on other mod? However, if you want help debugging your collection, here some tips:

1- The mods from the workshop are saved on C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990 . Every folder name it's the workshop ID of the mod, so if you found the problematic mod, by pasting https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=<folder name> into your browser, you will go directly to the page of that mod.

2- The error that throws it's related to the file "99_underground_realms_decisions.txt", so it's fair to assume that the problematic mod touches that file. Using the Windows File search on the workshop folder, or other kind of search (Like the "search on all files" on Notepad++) will help you to find the problematic mod.

I think you want this script to run on starting capital worlds... the tech check is a bit redundant.

Just for reference... each error appears to be for a different world and there are 160 of these errors generated back to back on startip.

@MayhemX8: mmmm... something like that it's pretty easy to do, but it's out of the scope of this mod... I did this one mostly for a MP game with friends... I may make another mod in the future, but I have other priorities right now, sorry :/

Hey, do you think you could add a feature to this mod that makes the Police State civic increase encryption? Since Paradox didn't do the right thing and make the police state, you know, SECURE it seems that'll be left up to the modding community. I understand if you don't have the time right now, but it'd be sweet if you could!

@Shavkatik After a small simulation I did, AI seems to more or less figure it how to being positive on Amenities, but relaying more on Clinics and Temples rather than on holo teathers... However, that is the AI on an AI Empire. I didn't tested with the sector automation of a player empire. It should work more or less the same, but any odditie shoud come from the cluncky vanilla AI.

So, sorry, but the Holo Teathers logic it's out of the scope of this mod.

If you want a better AI, there is a mod called "Starnet AI" that it's already updated for the current patch. I didn't checked it, but I heard good things of it, and it should be more or less compatible with this mod. You should only remember to put this mod under it in your load order.

@Shavkatik: mmm... let me analyze for a moment what can I do and if it's relevant to this mod... In the latest update, the logic behind when to construct buildings was moved somewhere else, so I deleted the entire weight logic from the presinct houses... That means, the issue it's probably the vanilla AI not understanding how to keep being alive.

Hi, thanks for your work, but I have a problem, can you make AI smarter with crime and allow them to build holo theaters if they have low amenities? Here is screenshot, only 29 years of play, this empire is not a criminals, but stupid and can't do anything with this. They just give up..

@East Vikingr: They are partially compatible if you put my mod, under that mod.

If you do that, the AI will use this mod to decide if it shoud negotiate with the crime lords, start an anti-crime campaign, or build a precinct house... however, it will also revert all the changes done by that mod to the precinct house (they will be the vanilla precinct houses).

If you do the opposite (put that mode under my mod), then my mod will do nothing, as AA's Galaxy of Criminals will overwrite every change done by my mod.

@천의치: I checked 'Ethics and Civics classic' code and... yes, mostly. As the names are untouched, Authoritarian, Militaristic and Pacifist will react as stated by this mod... However, as the new civics added by the the other mod are not considered by this one, they will react having only in account it's relationship with the Criminal Empire.

In my game, there's 2 planets I have branch offices on in which "Crime Lord Deal" is active. Each is ruled by a different militarist nation on neutral relations with me. Once a new building slot opened, the planets got stuck in a loop of building precinct offices, then immediately destroying them, then building them again.

It's too bad, because I was absolutely loving this mod and actually being able to play a crime family.

@santiagopm88 I only updated the game version number, since the update didn't affect this mod... Maybe the workshop doesn't updated you because I didn't increased the mod version number? I will try incresing it and publishing it again.... But yes, it's full compatible with 2.7

I agree with the speakers below. An uncompromising fight against crime is more suitable for authoritarianism than for pandering to bandits. Strong power does not need to cave in under organized crime.

I think the AI should be more likely crack down on criminals in general.

Personally I think the way the AI uses the decisions should be reversed. Egalitarian and pacifist governments seem more likely to want to strike deals with the criminals because freedom=corrupt leadership.

Meanwhile Authoritarian and militarist governments would seem the more likely candidates to crack down hard on crime since their power relies on obedience to authority or being seen as the strongest force in the society.

Just my thoughts.

@Rough: It overwrites the 03_crime_decisions file (it only contains the decisions to start or end both campaigns), and the Precinct House/Hall of Judgements buildings (it is in his own file, so it does not overwrite other vanilla buildings).
