I feel absolutely insane, I do everything step by step, except it changes nothing for the model I want to give the samples to. What am I doing wrong??

Nvm, I got it, though had to export the dummy's animation as a DMX animation and then pasted it into the new model.

Every time I try copying a walking animation, its either just the first frame and no movement, or the model still T-poses

This is really usefull for learning animation if your new to sfm get this open a project spawn this and just mess about with it trust me it did me wonders

this model got my interest and I want to port it to gmod and share it on the workshop too.

This model is especially useful along with the puppet script . With it I can apply quick and easy animations to models with the right skeletons.

I try to use this ddummy with CSGO models and what is i got.
The animations plays perfectly, but some of parts of the model (for example, pelvis, hands and fingers)are twisted or something like that:

this is just teleporting the model to the same location as the anim_dummy

some sequences crash SFM (e.g. running_holding_all) and most are broken (model doesn't run but its feet turn 90° right)

Probably a little late for this request, but it would be really beneficial if you included a facial guideline on the head so we can easily know which direction the head if facing.

Seems broken for some reason, the other HL models also have a tendancy to as of recently, crash sfm in the model viewer when looking at specific animations

It crashes a lot at the Import Sequence screen. D8 Not very fun when I'm trying to find the right reference.

Is there a way to fix when it crashes when I try and browse the sequences? Therre must be too many and SFM can't handle it. I don't have a slow computer or anything, either.

+1 on Almost Conan O'Brien's comment. SFM keeps crashing when I browse through the sequences.

It crashes if I try and preview more than a few animations on it in the Import Sequence window. I think there might be too many animations built into it. Can you try making a few of these with different sets of animations?
