Great mod, but is there a way to limit this to adult pawns only? The children that manage to grow up turn into proper ubermensch.

Anyone know how many burning and how many interested passions maximum the colonist can have in the vanilla game? Want to decide what level of maximum passions achievable to set in the mod setting, and want it to be close to vanilla
kongkim 5 nov, 2024 @ 3:04
You should really make so it worked with vanilla mod passions :)
ZenitiPlay 1 sep, 2024 @ 8:12
Plus, putting a minimal skill level to gain specified passion like:
0 for Apathy, 4 for Minor, 8 for Natural, 12 for Major and 16 for Burning.

Building a constant leveling up curve for our pawns.

Hope you could do it in next updates, take your time, buddy! You have our support. <3
ZenitiPlay 1 sep, 2024 @ 8:06
Oh please, this mod is just wonderful!
Could you add the new passions ofthe game as well?
Apathy, Natural and Burning.

I think starting at 30% for apathy and reducing 5% each time a pawn level up a passion would be very balanced, ending up with 10% for Major and 5% for Burning.
falkenlambedo 24 aug, 2024 @ 4:51
How are the settings to get 100 passions?
UNO 25 apr, 2024 @ 18:39
FYI the creepy joiners in anomaly dlc can not gain skill passions from this mod, I don't know it's intended or...

Plz Update. TY!
Triel 15 sep, 2023 @ 20:35
Sounds like vanilla issue
Falken 3 jul, 2023 @ 23:47
so the pawn gains passion, but it doesn't increase his learning rate until i reload the game from main menu. Otherwise It gives him mood buff but no increase in the learning rate. Thoughts ?
Reiquard 26 apr, 2023 @ 15:33
Thanks for the useful mod!
I would like to ask you to add support for languages other than English.
The Blind One 22 apr, 2023 @ 11:06
You know what would be a neat addition?

A separate modifier for children. So they can gain skill passions in skills they really excelled in their early lifestages. You could make it easier for kids to gain passions then for adults to really hammer in that passions are born when they are young and exposed to activities.
Narlindir 31 mar, 2023 @ 8:12
just dont do burning then
matthewturtleman 30 mar, 2023 @ 18:36
What about Apathy > None > Interested > Burning > Natural

Natural instead of critical, making critical impossible to achieve with lots of work
Denethor  [skapare] 29 mar, 2023 @ 20:53
Compatibility with VSE was discussed here few times already and I agree with what Karll wrote.
matthewturtleman 29 mar, 2023 @ 15:04
Could you make it work with Vanilla Skills Expanded?
Proxyer 29 mar, 2023 @ 9:55
Thanks for update!

Can I release a Chinese version of this mod?
I don't know how to split the Chinese file out,so it contains the mod ontology:griefer:
SilentCrim 1 nov, 2022 @ 2:18
I did a quick update to 1.4 until the official one is ready. Seems to be working fine, find it here:

@Napalm You can with a bit of fiddleling around, change the values in the dll, though it's not great :P. Would love to see it updated, it was a great mod.
Napalm 25 okt, 2022 @ 5:24
This seems to work for 1.4 though you can't change the default settings.
뮈친게임아니야이거 24 okt, 2022 @ 23:27
please update for 1.4..
Demognomicon 13 okt, 2022 @ 13:43
1.4 compatible version?
Karll 1 okt, 2022 @ 16:58
It might be better to avoid changing the passions from VSE at all, because a burning passion upgrading to a Critical would be a nightmare because it caps all other skill gain at 25%.

Would recommend not having this mod interact with skills that already have VSE passions, because the passions from that mod are subjective on how "good" they are.
VenoM 28 sep, 2022 @ 21:35
Apathy < None < Interested < Burning < Critical
VenoM 28 sep, 2022 @ 21:33
@Denethor the max passions per pawn is too small for it, thats the problem.
JACK 28 sep, 2022 @ 2:57
I think given the name of natural passion, maybe that one shouldn't be gainable at all? since it's based on the idea that it's something you're naturally good at, not something you've gained. so if that's the case, interested to burning to critical with natural and apathetic being outside of the rules makes sense to me. just to chime in with my opinion
Denethor  [skapare] 28 sep, 2022 @ 1:41
@Angel, @VenoM This mod should not conflict (i.e. not throw errors) with VSE and should work with standard vanilla passions (it won't do anything with a skill that has any of the new passions). Intergrating new passions is problematic. In vanila there is a clear passion order (none < interested < burning) but with VSE there is not (wich one is better - natural or critical? I think that really depends on situation...)
Denethor  [skapare] 28 sep, 2022 @ 1:09
@Seanbeag It does. Looks like a mod conflict as you said.
VenoM 27 sep, 2022 @ 23:18
Does this mod work with Vanilla expanded skills?
JACK 27 sep, 2022 @ 13:12
best mod for convenience and for storytelling!
Seanbeag 14 sep, 2022 @ 4:09
Does this give a message when a passion is gained? I thought it did before but they seem to have stopped. Probably a mod conflict but I just wanted to make sure.
Angel 7 sep, 2022 @ 14:04
Thanks!! :)
Can you add combability to the new vanilla expanded skills that adds new types of passions?
