Confirming it works in 1.3 - my animals makes no sounds, neutral do make sounds. I am running tons of mods, including CE and Children, Schools and Learning. Used default load order from RymPy tool.

i think TicksPerSecond stopped working, but will add this and that to the list of stuff to test :)

(i still have to play a large 1.1 game, but in my 1.0 game with about 500 mods, and lots of animals, including about 100 minions) :) the game went really slow on my slowish computer, until i sold at least half of the animals)

hi bar0th, do you know if this can save a few fps (or ticks) if animals are muted, and makes the game run a little faster if having lots of animals?
