Literally just right click in the BMS section and create a new folder, title it "custom" and to "extract the files inside" right click the folder you downloaded with the BMCE files and extract it, when its done, drag or copy the BMCE VPK files into said custom folder, hope I helped a bit

Put the VPKs into your custom folder

quick question, so do i extract the files to a folder and put said folder in custom, or do i just put the vpk's in custom

It's the Black Mesa developers fault for making it require \custom\ folder installation. All the mods do this, I just had to figure this out to modify weapon damage because skill.cfg is useless for your own weapons but the amplification works for enemies in the AI Modifiers section. It was annoying not being able to change the dmg values like you can, conveniently, in Sven-Coop for example. Now I know how to do it for Blue Shift too, I can't wait.

♥♥♥♥ this mod bro, ive tried everything to get it to work and it wont. Dont just give a empty Dummy folder and expect us all to know how to manually do it, ive tried everything and it wont work. Just make it to where it replaces the models and stuff when you install the add on, waste of 2 hours trying to get this to work

The files are there. Drive just doesn't show you a preview of them. Clicking the download button on the top right should still download the zip file, which contains the two necessary modifiers.

Help mod doesn't work, there are standart BM characters

This mod doesn't touch Eli or Kleiner

Kleiner's body/head spaz out and Eli acts possesed causing my game to crash

For some reason ever since around last year, anytime the vpk folders of this mod are loaded into the custom's folder, your game will crash when you try load into any chapter

none of the HECU have any headwear except for the red beret

Neither the Overhauls or BMCE should be affected by the update. None of the updates have touched the maps or NPCs, or if they have, I'm not aware of it. Regardless, you should be able to use them without issue

Thank you for your and your team's wonderful creation. So, from what I understand from the recent comments - it's the map overhauls utilizing BMCE that are now glitchy due to the recent update from CC, not the BMCE itself, am I right? I should be just fine if I install it on top of clean latest version of BM ?

The voicelines are an issue with the Overhauls and there isn't anything that can be done, afaik
As for the HECU gear, we've already included the helmets and beret, and that's all we planned to include from the mod

@Vinnie the cleansuit scientist is using regular voicelines after clicking him, HECU Collective improved gear has been changed. Maybe something else. I wouldnt say an update, more like a patch

yall go to the black mesa 10th anniversy ver of black mesa if the gear or anything else is broken with this mod we can only wait until the dev pulls out another update for it

There is a bug with the zombie in the bathroom stall where he sometimes doesn't spawn, only fix is to reload the map
