I need help with this mod, I installed it and since it didn't convince me so much, I deleted it. The problem is that now all dinos spawn at level 20, 30, 55, 60, 85, etc. Is there any way to fix this error? I want them to come out like the previous levels in vanilla (11, 67, 109, 43...), similar to these. Please, any solution?

@Final Fantasy - Thank you for that, even though I don't actually mod anymore it's good to see this mod is useful.

@Crabby - No ini settings from this mod. It simply overwrites a single hidden setting in the game. Controlling the max level ratio (like having level 5-150 versus 6-180, etc) is done via difficulty, which is a setting you can change without mods.

@Sir Spoony - It's just meant to change it to more Ragnarok-like settings. Dinos shouldn't exceed level limitations at all, ever, which means there's likely some other mod doing that. And yeah, no ini settings, but if you want to force an overall min/max level use the vanilla difficulty setting.

Not really "Bountiful"....but one thing I do notice is a bunch of lvl 66'ers flodding the maps. A couple other "same" numbers seen more often than not. The 66s and 150s are like half the spawns then random the rest.

One interesting thing though, it Ultra-rarely allows is a Dino to exceed the level limitations, which isn't a bad thing at all, but ultra rare.

I just wish there was a default .ini setup for this to force level ranges MIN/MAX

@Vegemite Sandwich - good, I'm glad you found a workaround. My solution has always just been to run a dedicated server on the same machine as my client.

@milk acquired - that's actually not controlled by this mod, but in general the baseline difficulty as seen on official servers puts max level at 150, increments of 5. In singleplayer, the default is max level 30, increments of 1. In ARK Server Manager for dedicated servers, the default is max 120, increments of 4. You can change settings if it's your own world to suit your playstyle and needs better.

Yo! I played with this mod for years and it didn't work on a fresh download. BUT! I fixed it by creating the map data for Ragnarok on my system. Now it works fine, so if you can't get it to work on Singleplayer, just load up Ragnarok, leave, go to the map you wanna play on, do a dino wipe and call it a day!

@Recat so this mod doesn't work on singleplayer.

@sonneville09 - it does work. I've tested it myself. Most likely you've got another mod changing the same setting, you didn't wipe wild dinos, or you simply do not know HOW it works, and thus do not know how to recognize when it does.

@Jimmy Buckets - thanks! That's actually why I made it, Aberration's the best map but it was always impossible to find anything good there.

@DISTROJAR - my best guesses are that you've got another difficulty or level changing mod, or you're playing singleplayer. Singleplayer games abide by different rules than dedicated servers, and frankly I have no idea how to make them work better.

how do I make this mod work I have it on max full difficulty 1 (i don't know how to change it to higher ) and all the dinos I find (after the destroy wild dinos command) are level 10-50, barely found creatures over level 100

best mod ever made me enjoy abberation being able to actually get good lvl dinos

@waffles Yes, it should work the same no matter what difficulty you're on. It just changes the odds, not the scaling of levels.

@Torpey and @Ichbin, my guess is that's a conflict with a different mod you're using because I've not seen either issue come up on my instances.

Creatures stopped spawning in caves after adding the mod to my single player The Island, and removing the mod made them start spawning again.

Can find all dinos at a high level frequently except for Velos on Extinction. Haven't seen a single one over lvl 100 and I've checked more than a hundred of them.

Is the easy way to tame if you are on single despite of mods and stuff, a "destroywilddinos" can help when it comes to tame or find a dino

What does this mod exactly do? Does it give higher spawn rates to higher leveled Dinos or does it up the difficulty to 10x meaning only level 10,20,30...- 300 Level dinos spawn? Im looking for a mod that keeps the difficulty at 5 but increases the odds of finding 150 or just high leveled Dinos drastically.

@L. - yes, level 150 was an example. It'll adjust the spawn weights exactly the same way on any other max level. So if your max level is 180, for example, you'll see more in that 156-180 range. If your max level is 300, you'll see more in the 260-300.

@Wilco_90 - I'm pretty sure Primal Fear just does that by itself, regardless of the levels they spawn at, but I'm no expert on that mod. No, there is no way to exclude a creature. The only thing this mod does is shift the WEIGHTS of spawn levels, but it does NOT change the min or max level that creatures spawn at.

I would recommend checking your server settings.

Is there a way to exclude a mod or modded dino's? For single player I now get primal fear dino's with milions of hp and torpor.

yep, grindy and time consumming. i need more quality in this game. like dino's behaviors need to be more realistic, where are the youghs ? any dino groupe ? Just passive/agressive reactions are so annoying and all the shi*. Yes it need to be polished. Definitely. But i think it's (verry slowly huh) granting some quality but somes thinks didn't change.
