The red-toothed triggerfish are definitely not nice, at my local aquarium, they are the most dangerous fish in the aquarium, they have eagle rays, honeycomb stingrays, blacktip sharks, blacktip reefsharks, wobbegongs, barracudas, previously also kept a scalloped hammerhead shark, and they have a pinktail triggerfish.

So yea, thats the fish were divers have to worry about. Red-toothed is all but nice :P

Really? Interesting. Most sources I've read described them as plankton feeders and gentle giants. They are probably a bit out of date though.

They are really not, unfortunately. Pinktails are just about as nice as redtooths and they will still destroy anything skittish.

It would be wonderful to see some of the nicer triggerfish someday, like the redtoothed...that is, if they are nice to begin with!
