You know I have been thinking about this mod and looking at doing something, as the creator of this non lethal assembly isn't around it seems. But then we would have to have two other mods active in order to use this MOD again, and I think that alone is kinda bloated. I'll look into the possibilities again soon.

If anyone has the ability to rip apart this assembly and help update it to work with 1.4 maybe 5 thousand of us would appreciate it. ;)

@zen therfore you need a mod with which you can choose target with turrets yourself. It adds a "aim at" button just like for colonists. Then you can aim whatever you want.

I saw you wanted to create special ammo. for the beginning you could also change the reload from "steel" to, idk, 2 modern medicine or 5 herbal medicine for, like 30 shots. To say that they put anez. fluid in it. Then is uses ammo until you got something that has more of your taste as ammo.

what a bs that turrets dont aim prisoners anymore. I imagine TAS to see a difference between own colonists and enemys, mostly by regonizing codes, uniform or chips insert in uniforms of friendly soldiers to tell turrets "im friendly". Prisoners have none of that. no chip, no uniforms, they dont wear colonists clothes and thefore do NOT fall under the safety perimeter of TAS´s.

This is intended behavior so will not be patched, per Ty on his dev Discord. If you want turrets that target revolting slaves, that behavior will have to be modded in. (XML-only ain't gonna do it)

Don't bother. It's not your mod. It's the base of the game that is causing that bug. Even the default turrets aren't shooting at rebelling prisoners.

Thanks for the update. One version change challenge has emerged - the turrets will not fire at revolting slave colonists. They can even throw a conniption fit and break the turret and it will not react.

I had a trader fly by and he had x15 rancor eggs (fert). I build a pen and hatched them, I placed these turrets watch my handlers as they trained them to be sold. ty

Great to put down near Prison doors for when the escapee's come running out. Also if you play AVP mod, and are predators, it's fun to use to Tranq humans and then capture and place in spots for a Hunt!

Is there a reason why, when placing a Tranquilizer Turret, the coverage preview displays a much larger radius than the gun's actual range?

In the defs it looks like the building's <specialdisplayradius> is set to 52, but the max range of the gun is limited to 32.

New "items" not in the core game are always safe to add. Ones that change something in game have potential to cause issues. Short answer is yes.
