Thanks that works great! Looks like any amount of figures over 18 in a unit causes a crash for me. Also when I was changing the scale in game it didn't seem to work for the helicopter, modern builders and a few others, even though they're in the base artdef.. The rest look great though. Either way thanks for your help

you dont need to rebuild anything you can just use the link i've provided and restart the artdef so the changes could be made

@GeloDGreat Not sure why this keeps happening but basically I'm trying to take your github files, like units.artdef, and adjust <m_fValue>0.700000</m_fValue> to 0.3.. I want to try and scale down all the units and add more figures. So the only parameters I've changed are the fValue and <m_nValue>12</m_nValue> to 18 for the Warrior unit to test out and now am getting constant CTDs when loading R.E.D Unified. Can I not just edit the parameters and start a new game or does the whole mod need to be rebuilt in Modbuddy? My civ 6 SDK is causing a bunch of problems and not building solutions so would be ideal if I could just edit yours. I've already tried to build a new mod using your existing code and it would build X(

Any idea why that might be happening? Also thanks for the link to the in game console

This was easily one of the best mods for Civ VI, too bad Firaxis kept using the crappy graphics engine... :steamfacepalm:

Thanks, I found the Line Infantry and Man at Arms in the original units.artdef so will make a mod with those resized and test it out. Another noob question, how can I test these units in game without actually having to play one (like in your screenshots)? I remember there was a mod in civ 5 that allowed you to plot units in game but have only seen that "cheat" mod to restore health etc but not add new units.

@Rabs Warren, Actually you just need to go to the files you want to resize, and you can implement the values the same as I have on this repo, You also need to make sure that the artdefs are properly added and all necessary dependency of that mod

Hey Gelo, good to hear you're still around but man that sucks to hear about your steam screwing up. I'd like to help in getting the units from the NFP resized if you could point me in the right direction.. I modded quite a bit of sql and xml in civ 4/5 but haven't dabbled in civ 6 modding much. I'm having the game crash every time a line infantry unit is created and it only seems to happen when using WE with R.E.D. Do you think there's an overlap somewhere that's causing the crash?

I was looking over your github files and don't see any for the NFP civs so can't find any code for the line infantry anywhere (should be with the gran columbia pack?). If I wanted to resize the man at arms is it as simple as copying the code from, say, the swordsman unit and changing the element name to match?

would love to play civ again, but steam unsubscribe all on my subscribed mods ruined everything, cant maintain this, hopefully another one would update this changes

For those of you that have been having the unit tearing/beaming out issue; I reduced my "asset texture" settings to low, turned off leader animations, basically turn down the graphics where you can as you most likely have an old crappy video card like me and running on DX11. After doing these I started a new game with only WE and R.E.D loaded and the unit tearing went away. I've been slowly adding back other asset mods like hillier hills and dense vegetation with no issues (so far). This mod is too good to play without so hopefully that works

Two issues were found with the mod: 1.Man at arms in its vanilla size. 2.Game crashes before line infantry are produced (It seems that glitching has to do with assets limits not the mod)

So I know the mod isn't maintained anymore, but does anyone know why any units I build/buy are just 1 guy, not even the base game size just one small guy

Hello! Your mod is the best i have ever seen, but I have a big problem - ALL naval units have a very strange graphical bug, they don't work normally and they block the entire screen. Can you fix it, please?

If you use it with a mod that changes the map design, the graphics will crash easily. Therefore, do not use it with these mods.(ex. Hillier Hills, Environment Skin: Sid Meier's Civilization V etc)

Apart from the above, the graphics of the city-state units crash so easily that the game crashes.

there is asset limit if you have graphics issue, you must remove some mods or disable new frontier dlc to fix it

I wonder if there is something wrong with late game unit textures... ?

Of the late game unit glitches... Strangely it seems that the textures flashing in the hex of the unit are of different units, spotted at least trader and MLRS textures flashing over tank destroyer and assault gun, for example?

Is this caused by limited graphics resources, or might there be a solution to the flashing textures problem in the XML or other code defining the texture assignments?

Those are very sad news, if this mod also includes the rescaling, which has improved recently on modern units (less glitches, sizing getting more universal, for no apparent reason than modders correcting graphics coding)... :steamsad:

For me this mod crashes the game when a Line Infantry unit appears. Fixable by disabling the mod.

hi, would you make a R.E.D Total War for WE Complete Edition? It's impossible to use WE:E together with City Styles and Urban Complexity due to the problem with assets limit. Thank you very much for these mods, you make players' civ6 experience so much better!

Hi,

I've notice that my horseman shows only 1 Rider (Tested on Rome) instead of a whole unit.

Is support for german localization in case of both following text files (a+b) work in progress? Just asking, because "WarfareExpanded_Text" (for german localization: "WarfareExpanded_Text_de_DE") is working as intended.

hello i have used the mod R.E.D Total War: Steel and Thunder Unique Units with this reloaded, i get a lot of lightning from the screen, what could be the cause, with the city light deactivated and so on.

@XxARKADxX You should reduce your mods that adds assets, its the cause, I just did that and it works and now much stable and I was able to update the mod and play civ haha

Hey not sure what you mean by factorization but maybe that is what I am experiencing. Occasionally I see a unit that has weird graphical issues that breaks the graphics. It looks like a bunch of beams coming off of one unit and splays across the screen really fast.

@Johann, yes me too, They had limits on how many assets you need to have, so I cant play other UI/Assets like Project Metropolis due to this limit

I am getting factorization only with this mod. I lowered the frame rate to 30. I have no problems with any other games, even super high end games. Ever since the last update with Civ6, this problem has been happening. I think they are doing stuff on purpose to ruin Mods. Sad really when the mods are better than the game itself.
