I think there's 4.0 size guns now but at the time 3.5 was the largest I ever saw gun sizes go to. Apologies Destova.

I think I discovered it was just the gun(s) I was trying to slot in were literally too big for the slots on the ship. I kinda gave up on it cause I'm not really sure if it was due to the ship size scale being off (I built at a full 15 slots out of pure Avorion and they just wouldn't fit) or what I was doing wrong. Didn't matter anyway cause the server died soon after, so it's whatever.

I dont THINK it would break the coaxial gun as everything I know about it, I don't recall changes to coaxial guns like that. They mostly just changed progression, and warp jumping, and how ship size scales to system slot.

I had a blueprint not far from this one that was 4 pieces. It's been a while since I recall where it was, but I think I had 4 platforms lined up in a row, and you would put 4th at the back, and 1st at the front. They had off set turret places which meant all 4 guns would line up on the 1st's so they could fire together. Otherwise if you made your own custom ships you just make the barrel offset as far as you can for each one, and they should be able to fire in a line.

Hey, question. I know this ship is older at this point and things have changed in Avorion fairly majorly, but has the newer versions of the game broken the coaxial turret? I won't like this might be person behind the keyboard error as I've never gotten quite this far into the game, but I for the life of me cannot figure out how to get even one coaxial turret in place, much less 4 as you say is possible. Any help would be appreciated, though I understand completely if that's no longer possible due to the state of the ship compared to the modern updates to the game.

@ahbiker - don't use hollow insides of ships, it's hard to fill them with stuff. Most good builds use framework inside, but several smaller ones instead of just one large one. This way you can make the shell look good with bunch of frameworks inside - users can import your ship and select to view only frameworks then simply replace them with other things as they need, to mix-and-match.

Feel free to take any of my ships and hollow them out to practice if you like. Maybe some of the IMC freighters might work.

Please is it possible you do a shell build. Cosmetically epic as yours always are. But with a hollow centre maybe 10wide 5 deep. And however king u see fit. With the belly of the ship open for easy filling centre? I'm new to building but can full a ship to my needs realy well. And slowly learning to do my own designs too

why thank you ahbiker! I did grab a lot of inspiration from Eve Online. But yeah I've spent a lot of time trying to refine, and make them functional/aesthetic, and low block count for better performance. Hopefully they work well for you. People have kept liking the ships so I've kept making ships. So really everyone who likes, comment, downloads a ship has kept me making them.

yet to see ingame but damn dude u remind me of the finest looking eve online ships. to make these and as ppl say cheap and functional is insane. i don my invisible hat to you sir

Hey SkeL, thank you for the kind words. Yeah I try to make them look nice, have low block count, and perform well. I likely wont be working on stations as I keep thinking of ship designs to work on instead.

Btw will you venture yourself into Stations?

Dude i've gotta tell you... You are the best shipbuilder in this workshop. Your ships are functional, beautiful and cheap.
I started playing some days ago, tried different ships but none was so perfect as your collection.
Most of the other guys make ships with tens of thousands of blocks, I don't get why. Your ships are so great and with a low block count, so perfect.

Can sombody explain to me how i use the 4 coaxil from same spot ? What i need to place on the turrets bases ?

Relatively cheap. I used to show material cost. This one is Trinium with maybe a little xaniom for transporter block.

A lot of mine are made of titanium so they're very cheap/easy to build. Frameworks further makes them economically affordable as you can upgrade them later with expensive generator/shields ect.

I seams that when I saved and loaded a copy of this guy the special turrets you made came off. I take it 4/4 is the back and 1/4 is the front? For the record I love the little courtyard in your Megas ship so much I couldn't help but create a little courtyard out of the front trench in this ship.

Hyperspace core Modules can sometimes have warp cooldown reduction. Also there's a quest for a Xsotan artifact out there that gives you a massive cooldown bonus which helps a lot.

This is really cool. Can't wait to explore this more but one question straight away - how do you reduce the hyperspace cooldown to ~30 seconds?
